Hi Zorgon... BTW I believe I misspelled your name in my initial post, and for that I apologize. My problem is pretty much self-evident in the
difference between the picture with the coin, and the pic that you showed in this post.
No problem on the name

and your idea (another thread? ) about a team... well that was the purpose of Pegasus... but the problem is when its done
for free you can only get participation when people have free time...you need a staff to make a permanent analytical team.
The other problem is that while you can get 'better' images from NASA as the ones above show, you have to know which ones you want and there are
hundreds of thousands...
Now for example the 'coin' I got the false color one but have not found the better ones yet of that set... Maybe ArMaP has one, don't know...
there are so many directories around its impossible to have them all
So we are stuck with things the way they are and have to count on people like Skipper and Keith Laney to find interesting shots to check
What I find funny is that people say NASA images lie... but then newer NASA images or 'retakes' that now show rock are telling the truth
The image of the 'base' in the other thread... the retake was done by a public request... so the sent the MGS back to take a shot because some
researcher asked for it (that was offered before the satellite went dark... and was even free) Then it comes back 'rock' and everyone is positive
it is the real picture
Oh well... if you are ever interested in the Mars cargo transport... drop me a note via U2U...
