thanks for sharing.

It would nice to have other areas in the cone also covered just in case there are sudden changes in the track. At least one from Alabama and one from Texas would be good if you have it.

thanks jw

I know many won't be able to sleep tonight and this is certainly a way to stay connected. I can only imagine how much those currently displaced will want to see what is happening in their neighborhoods.

Here are the traffic cameras for the Houston Metropolitan area. You will want to look at I-10 East. I have heard that there is alot of traffic out there on I-10 between Beaumont and Houston (back roads included).

I was looking at the NOAA weather radar station for New Orleans

Earlier before the storm came ashore and there were those distinctive radar rings over New Orleans. I have seem them right before other storms have hit in the past in FL and the proceeded some pretty bad winds.

Here is the capture I made of that earlier radar loop feed from NOAA

WOW!
Sunday, August 31st, 2008

I guess 3 drunk guys and a hurricane was a hit. Over 3000 viewers, an ABC interview… 2 missed calls from CNN, and 4 cases of beer.

It’s 11:45 or so. Raining outside, and it’s time to shut it down. We’re here to help, not to be drunken fools that can’t fend for themselves, so we need to get some sleep and sober up.

Thanks for all the emails and comments. TONS of Twitter watchers, Total Fark, Digg, Something Awful, and all the other sites that have linked… not to mention the #1 show on Ustreem.TV.

Wow… that’s all I can say.
www.gregledet.net...

I added everyone's links to the top post. Good luck and prayers to all in the path of Hurricane Gustav.

On a side note, I'm watching CnnHd, and they had some Bourbon Street pub interviews that were cracking me up. These people were being interviewed in a bar, while nonchalantly hangin out, drinking beers and shooting pool while that TJ Holmes anchor on CNN kept expressing how stupid he thinks they are for not packing up and leaving Nawleans. Haha, I cant stand that tj Holmo guy, what a cocky #*&!.

then some homeless people were interviewed by some lady, this homeless guy sleeping on a bench says it's not gonna happen, the storm is going to hit farther west like Texas, then the lady says, oh no, its gonna happen its going to happen bad! , hahahaha I hope to hell that bum keeps sleeping comfortably on the bench through the whole storm like nothing happened!! They should just follow him around all night!!
