What's going on?

Hi everyone.
I've had a weird afternoon. This is my first thread, so please bear with me.
I've had two weird things happen today that I just cant explain and I'm hoping you may have some thoughts on it all.
I drive a duel fuel vehicle. It runs on petrol and gas. It has a switch to go from one to the other. The middle position of this switch cuts all fuel to the motor. Today while driving on a freeway I actually saw the switch move from gas to the middle position just a moment before my engine died. It is not a faulty switch or anything like that and I see no way for it to change itself. I pulled over, switched it back to gas and was able to continue my journey without further incident.
Then later, after I got home, I was sitting in my lounge room. It felt like something took hold of my finger and pulled on it sharply. When I looked down at my hand, my ring finger was dislocated at the knuckle. Me being me, I just pulled it and popped it back in.
It all has me baffled. I'd appreciate any thoughts you may have on this.

Bro something pulled your finger out of the socket and stopped your car? Thats creepy as hell but maybe its trying to tell you something. Maybe something about marriage and stopping where your at in life right now. I tend to think everything that happens is significant, and when weird things start happening, somethings trying to get your attention. Or a dead ex could want revenge. lol who knows?

My Ex may be cold, but she's still very much alive... Now as for her wanting revenge... Oh dear... lol.
Yes I have no explanation for it nor any thought as to how either event could even happen.

Have any enemies, or prankster rivals in high places?
Maybe it´s just a friend goofing off with his new invisibility cloak?

Either way, this sort of thing would have me calling the men in white coats to take me away, ha-ha, hee-hee!

Petrol and gas are one in the same.

North America uses the term gasoline and the Commonwealth countries use petrol.

That leaves me not understanding the petrol/gasoline situation you had.

In your effort to get your car going you probably dislocated your finger or damaged it.


Except for Canada, most current or former Commonwealth countries use the word "petrol", abbreviated from petroleum spirit. In North America, the word "gasoline" is commonly used, where it is often shortened in colloquial usage to "gas."

I thought the gas/petrol thing may get confusing. Here in Australia we call the common liquid petroleum, PETROL. We also can use Liquid Petroleum Gas which goes in a gas cylindar instead of into the petrol tank.( LPG ) gas.
And yea I was expecting the pull my finger jokes! lol.

Thankfully nothing else has happened, maybe whatever was going on has stopped. I hope so. The finger is still sore.

Glad I brought a smile to your dial neonine. As for a pic... goodness me... I couldnt even get my thread in the right place and you expect me to be able to add pictures??? lol.
Trust me, the finger is a bit swollen at the joint, stiff and sore. I wouldn't mind if it had been because of something silly I did to it, but I didn't do anything to it. Even the fuel switch in my car is on my right side and the finger is on my left hand, thus dispelling the theory that in my efforts to click a toggle switch back up, I injured my finger hours before I felt it happen.
Who knowa? I guess it will just remain one of those strange little occurances in life.

Petrol, as in petroleum.

lol i got that now Psychopump. i don't sprekin that lingidy gas means gas we dont have hydrogen wide spread over here. E85 is all over the place though.

So let me get this right... You have a ghost following you and you also have hummers following you?
