SAS Survival guide - John 'Lofty' Wiseman.

i have several copies of this book, the full edition, the gem, and .pdf of several different printings. where did you get this version as i have never seen it?

Its a neat little pocket sized life saver. Well worth hunting a copy down for your collection.

I have just received my copy of the sas survival guide today.
Its a top draw product and as Dan Tanna knows, this should be the start of any BOB.

Does anyone out there know of any good small pocket books out there that are all about wild food in and around the UK ?????

I got the wrong one back in the day and got the urban survival guide (also by Lofty). It's pretty good, but next to useless for wilderness survival.
It does give an overview of some wildlife / dog breeds / insects etc that encroaches on urban areas but that's about it.
