We already had a woman nominated as VP. Geraldine Ferrarro.

McCain will win and you Obamatrons better not cause major riots (though i'm sure you will).

Your ignorance is refreshing, and reminds me all the more why i couldnt stand hillary clinton, and why i regret ever being a republican.

Both are the same in the sense of their vinciditive and vehement nature to anyone who disagrees with them.

You may think you're being condescending, but in order to be condescending - you have to have something others dont'

ignorance doesnt count.

Do a little research on Charles Barkley's business endeavor's. You'll find that he is doing very well financially with his partnerships of three banks making money off of people like you who just need to dig yourself deeper in debt so you can prove to everyone you are successful.

It just shows me that McCain is grasping at straws and is desperate to prove that he is a piller of change when he's not.

Lenora Fulani has very little experience in government and that is what McCain wants. He picked her because she can be mislead into agreeing with anything he wants.

McCain could of pick a much more stronger canidate for VP.

To get back on topic, while the OP's reasoning isn't bad, I really don't think McCain would be the "chosen one," if there is one. The nefarious powers of the world have been pushing European Socialism for a long time, and that, as one of his supporters in this thread even points out, is pretty much what Obama is running on.

To get a little off topic, Im horrified that anyone would think European Socialism would be a good thing, even if they were raised in our very socialist propaganda-laden education system. One, what happened to the land of the free and the home of the brave? Have you all become a bunch of scared whiners who want big brother to take care of it all? And if you want to know what a Euro-social society will lead to, look to Mr. Orwell for some answers. Though Im sure Obama's smiling face would make a great Big Brother poster.

Two, do you not understand how socialism works, why it can keep itself above water in Europe, but would destroy the US? For a European country, most of them are the size of one US state, with very little rural population. Thus, socialism benefits all, as socialism only benefits city dwellers, by and large. You see, most programs for "the good of society" occur in cities. So city-dwelling tax payers get their money's worth. Or at least a reasonable facsimile thereof.

However, what will happen, just as in most of Europe, is that the only people who will be able to afford to live outside of a city will be the wealthy. You will disenfranchise all of rural America, through higher taxation and higher cost of living. Thus the wide open spaces of the US become the playground of the elite, and everyone else gets to pack into a city and be just one worker bee of a billion. HOW CAN THAT APPEAL TO ANYONE??? Well, other than the elite. But I rather assume most of them would not find themselves on ATS lol

(As a disclaimer, I rather loathe McCain, too. While he is less dangerous than Obama, for the average citizen, I would urge all of you who want a free and prosperous America to give your voice to REAL change. Groups are organizing all across the country for that purpose. Join one, or start your own.)
