There are so many threads on this today.

I thought this one was about CNN's coverage?

You can go to any of the networks that aren't Fox and you'll find lots of hand wringing and skepticism. Its an amazing contrast to how the media treated the Biden pick, which was all completely positive. There wasn't even mention of Bidens's past racist remarks!

I have to laugh more at the fact FOX news changed their transcripts from last nights speech.

Well Swatman I'm glad you are rich and will get the tax cuts you millionaires will be getting. Good for you HAIL the dollar...

im not rich, im middle c lass.. but please explain WTF ur talking about. what transcripts?

I was watch FOX at 2 in the morning following the speech last night.

I was Amazed pundent Bill Kristol's reaction, which was very positive, which frankly shocked me.

I immediately went online to search for a reaction to Kristol's reaction...

Anyhow the transcript I found was completely messed with and fake.

I get that CNN and MSNBC have liberal pundents that convey a liberal point of view...

However FOX goes past the commentary and often CHANGES information/facts...
Anyhow the bellow transcript is false and not by my doing. I would not care the opinions are all conservative, but when you go about rewriting someone's words?

Anyhow I cannot find the transcript for the words I heard last night.

www.236.com...

BRIT HUME: Joining me now is our the Fox News all star panel. The question arises immediately of course, how is this speech? Did Obama seem like he thought he was a rock star or did he think he was Zeus preaching hope with a bolt of lightning held high above his head? Did the speech do what the convention organizers and the Obama campaign hoped it would? Bill Kristol, your thoughts?

BILL KRISTOL: I thought Obama's speech was a shockingly minimal endorsement of Obama.

HUME: Really?

KRISTOL: Other than the words and speaking style, this speech could have been given by anyone.

HUME: Including John Kennedy?

KRISTOL: Excluding the dead - except for Lyndon Johnson. That bastard wouldn't let mortality stand in the way of stealing the limelight. The point I'm making is that Obama, who campaigned for eighteen months, never once mentioned that he was Obama. There were 75,000 people sitting there and millions more at home. There were a lot of people who had never met him, let alone seen him in person. That he felt that he didn't have to bring up that he was him just showed how condescending he is; how much of a celebrity he believes he is. How out of touch he is with everyday Americans who I speak to every day at my club.

HUME: Wow. You agree with that, Mort?

MORT KONDRACKE: I do. Look, he said what he had to say, but he didn't say anymore. Generally, he didn't give the specifics. He never said the things that I'm thinking he should have said, nor did he tell us how he would do to make the changes necessary to carry out what I want.

JUAN WILLIAMS: I really have to disagree but not all that much.

CHARLES KRAUTHAMMER: Brit, if you don't mind I'm just going to sit here and let overt disdain and contempt for the human condition drip from the corner of my mouth.

BILL O'REILLY: While I have never been anything but completely fair to Senator Obama, I have to say, objectively, that the Folks™ know nothing about Obama except for this speech and since he didn't come on the Factor to deliver all I can say is the normal folks just aren't going to understand why this candidate didn't have the courage to come on with me to say the same thing he just said tonight, but to me.

CHRIS WALLACE: Gentleman. Obama won't be giving his speech for another five hours.
HUME: We'll be right back with Sean Hannity, Dick Morris and Karl Rove to analyze why Barack Obama was so ill-prepared to do make this speech earlier.

OH... and I almost forgot an important point. Obama's lack of experience may be the least of his worries. If his inexperience is no longer an issue, he will be forced to defend his socialist-leaning policies, which will turn off even more voters.

Obama will WISH the debate were about his experience.

Sorry buddy but the right's scare tactics will no longer work. You're right, this election will not be about experience (thanks to McCain) it will be about issues that a majority of American's care about:

1 Economy
2 Ending the corrupt war in Iraq
3 Healthcare
4 Supreme Court

McCain is on the wrong side of each of these issues. Thats why he so needed to experience straw man argument. Now he has pissed that away. The republican party has so screwed up this country and McCain's policies are way too similar to the failed Bush policies for most thinking Americans.

It is you that are the scared little boy. And you have every reason to be.

CNN is actually very neutral in my opinion, the minute any news station criticizes the GOP for anything their automatically marked "liberal". It’s a shame because I mean how are you going to get clean news if every time you don’t like what you hear to mark it off as "liberal".

On the other hand Fox news and $400 million a year Limbaugh are only there to tell righties what they want to hear and how convenient, not once have I hear any of you fellas above here criticize them. It’s always somehow overshadowed by "MSM". In fact back in 2001-2004 when the media was verymuch behind Bush none of you argued or spoke out about the propaganda pumping about Iraq.

Now I may not like what I hear on the news everyday but im not going automatically make excuses about it calling it "rightwing bias", I suggest that if you wish to have a fair debate where you dont have somebody telling you what you want to hear in you head i.e Limbaugh, then cut the excuses.

CNN, MSNBC, FOX, etc............none of them are neutral! They're playing the role they've been told to keep Americans divided. They keep you bogged down with crap that doesn't matter. As far as the crap that really does matter and needs to be brought to the light of day, I assure you they're all on the same page and keeping it quiet.

Stop taking the bait.

Peace

agreed 100%. liberals love freedom of speech when they are the ones speaking.

But you watch, if Obama gets into office I guarantee you one of the things he and his cabinet will try and reinstate is the Fairness Doctrine. No doubt about it.

They were really prissy and catty to Hillary when she was running. Not too crazy bout wimin and black folk in general.

Is anyone watching Hardball? So Far Mathews has called Palin:

-A Racist (while trashing Buchanan at the same time)
-A radical
-As not caring about Iraq (while ignoring the fact his kid served and will serve there again)

It must be nice for Obama to be so positive, since he has a whole media wing that will go negative for him.

what you have to laugh at are the people who get upset because foxnews covers republicans favorably and CNN covers democrats favorably

who gives a damn

be original and come up with your own ideas.

Don't be like my father in law who thinks that John McCain is the greatest thing since sliced bread for a president JUST because he chose a hot VP

If you like John McCain, fine, whatever, your loss

but dont let the MSM tell you what to do...and then moan like a child because another network disagrees with you

who *snip*ing cares

but ...

If The Media has launched an Anti-McCain agenda

and

The MSM exists to help obama win

then why would he want to install the fairness doctrine??

care to explain

In order to shut up any and all dissent to the democrats left wing agenda. You cannot deny that every single prominent Republican/Conservative is under attack in some way by the media or democrats. Harry Reid used his powers to attack a private citizen, Rush Limbaugh, for something that was a complete fabrication created by the media.
