Davion, I understand what you are saying here but help me reconcile something... Didn't Biden run against BHO for POTUS and get beat soundly? Given
this fact, hasn't the Democratic party already established a lack of confidence for the man that is in effect one heartbeat away?
Now that being said, don't you think that each party should have a say in the VP runningmate before the nomination is extended?

I agree. I think he probably does have a better idea of what's going on. Which is why I'll probably be voting for him come the election, I am just
saying that it goes both ways, really.

Yes I think that would be great, actually. I don't really care for this idea that the nominee for President just gets to cherry pick his running
mate, I think it should be more in the interest of everyone involved.

So the message is true huh?
Obamas nickname is: Barry Obama; “The One”?? Who besides the right bloggers have ever called him this?
Public Opinion: May be The Messiah?? Really the public opinion of Obama is the messiah. Because I have only heard a few on this board and maybe
Limbaugh refer to him as the Messiah.
Speaking ability: An enter…wait–did you say without a teleprompter?? Every speaker uses a teleprompter. And if you have forgotten there were
Democratic debates and he did not have a teleprompter there. If you think that he cannot speak without one, you are more naive than I thought.
Palins Foriegn relations experience is: Governor of state that borders two foreign countries (Canada and Russia) - That is not experience in anything
its a geographical location. It doesnt even make sense.
In current office: Upset sitting Governor in GOP primary due to public support for her efforts to clean up corrupt government establishment. Fails to
mention that the incumbent was deep in scandal and TWO repbulicans beat the incumbent. The incumbent finished 3rd.
Here is the link on her website for her ethics reform bill Its a dead link
There are tons of dead links on her page, hard to get straight answers.
If you can find an official link or source showing that this happened please post.
So as far as national accomplishment she has 3:
Passed a landmark ethics reform bill;
Used veto to cut budgetary spending;
Prevented “bridge to nowhere” that would have cost taxpayers $400 million dollars.
And this last one has been challenged by an Alaskan paper as sourced ealier in this thread.
The link you have provide is FULL of false or misleading information and is not a valid source.
Again I will say that comparing her to Obama is not the real issue. We should be comparing her to the other VP choices. If you do, it becomes very
obvious she was chosen strictly for political purposes. Every other VP possibility was head and houlders above Palin with regards to education,
experience and accomplishments. She cant hold a candle to Romney, Huckabee or Pawtley, or even Lieberman.

Ok...so for the sake of time, I will agree she has only 3 major accomplishments to her credit, Obama, so far, has one... being elected to Senate and
voting on bills.
In this thread, comparing Palin and Obama is the real issue, where have you been?

Yup, i guess, getting elected to the senate and voting on hundreds of bills is one accomplishment.
Here are a few of his accomplishments while working for the state senate:
Voted to end $300 million worth of tax breaks for businesses. (2004)
Voted for having Illinois endorse embryonic stem cell research. (2004)
Voted against restrictions on public funding of abortion. (2000)
Successfully co-sponsored a prescription drug discount buying club program for seniors and the disabled. (2003)
Unsuccessfully co-sponsored ban on discrimination based on sexual orientation. The measure became law after Obama was elected to the U.S. Senate.
(2003)
Successfully co-sponsored major ethics reform called the Gift Ban Act. (1998)
Here is a link to most everything he has done, including the committees he is/was on. It also has more voting statistics and bills that he has
introduced.
Obama
Do you have any more info/accomplishments on Palin or have we tapped that well.(pun intended.)

You know, I have been accused of making sexest remarks, although it has always been in reply to questions or suggestions initially directed to me. So
this time and in the future, those comments will be ignored.
The picture you have painted of your jr. senator is one that was handed the position and toed the party line ever since.
He co-sponsored a few bills...She signed a few into law...
We have a wash...I think? lol
your still down 2-0
Did Obama author a bill and pass legislation to lower his own salary?

And yet she has more experience than Obama...
Me thinks Obama only won the democrat nomination from more experienced contenders because 90% of a certain demographic voted based on race.

But that's not the ONLY reason.
You are forgetting that ares populated by said demographic were weighted more heavily in terms of delegates awarded.
For example, in Washington D.C. I think it was something like 4,000 votes per every delegate awarded, but in Indiana it was more like 10,000 votes
needed for every delegate awarded.
Don't quote me on these exact numbers, but it was something like this. Hillary picked up a smaller number of delegates for the same number of votes
in many states.
This is why Hillary won Ohio and Texas and only picked up a tiny handful of delegates in those states (6 maybe?)

Hillary was way ahead at the beginning Had the most money, name recognition, a strong voter base and washington connections, she was also already
assumed the nominee yet she still lost.
Her campaign is to blame and i think its mighty cheap of righties to act like they give a damn after the BS they started about her at the beginning of
this race. Just plain obvious political pandering, I mean how cheap can you get?

The poster was asking who called Barack "Barry Obama". He did in high school. So just chill and pull that 2x4 out of your butt.

actually
if you would pull the wool from over your eyes and actually read
Obamas nickname is: Barry Obama; “The One”??
"The One"??
See, you have two assertions here
You have "barry obama" which isnt the issue
then you have "The One"
which is
your photo doesnt prove that his nickname is "Barry Obama - THE ONE"
nobody is saying his nickname isnt "barry"
they are saying his nickname isnt "the one"
Are you really that...dull?

The nickname "The One" comes from the MSM's admiration and worship of him since the Primaries. Now if you'd wake up and take off your blinders,
you would've seen this yourself.

I dont care where ti came from
The question was "where did it come from" and you posted a yearbook photograph
im saying that your photograph does nothing but make us laugh at you.
It shows nothing man.
"The One"?
That came from Rush Limbaugh
verbatim
So has Lord, Obamamessiah, etc etc etc
The man is terrified
Ask your self this
The people who royall screwed this country over are TERRIFIED of Barack Obama. So much so that they have to create quippy little names to call him in
order to feel better about themselves.
If the people who screwed over this country dont want him in power
shouldnt that be all the reason you need to vote for him?
