This is not unique to the republicans or the democrats, both are guilty

I beg to differ. One party is guilty. That party is the Republican party. I'm so sick of people saying "oh they are both the same". Uhm, no they aren't.

Yes you’re right, every problem in our society right now is the Republican's fault, not one time in history has a Democrat screwed us over. All Democratic politicians are honest, fair and they all play by the rules. No Democrat congress person has ever excepted corporate donations for voting a particular way.

In fact I think it even says in the bible there was no evil in the world until the formation of the Republican Party by Satan. How could I have missed it?

100% of the above post is sarcasm

The truth is they used to be different parties. Republican used to mean less government control, free market trade, and less government spending. Democrats were typically the "tax and spend" party that needed money to fund all of their welfare type programs. But what has happened over the last 8 years? The Republican controlled White House has spent more money than Democrats have ever spent, Government is bigger and more controlling than ever.

Republicans have become the new Democrats while most Democrats (especially Obama and Hillary) have moved so far left they are borderline socialists.

Take Obama's speech for example, the whole thing is a lullaby. Don't worry my children, sleep soundly, the State will take care of you. You can't exist without help from the State. The State has the solution to all of your problems. Help us help you.

These are not the same parties that our parents grew up with.

Welcome to a Brave New World.

Anyone watching this?

He has hit so many chords that we Americans needed to hear. I especially loved the quotes:

"We are the party of Roosevelt, we are the party of Kennedy. So don't tell me the democrats won't defend this country. Don't tell me the democrats won't keep us safe."

"You don't defeat a terrorist network that operates in 80 countries by occupying Iraq".

"You can't truly stand up for Georgia when you have strained America's oldest alliances".

That's just a few of many amazing quotes from Obama. Hopefully this speech will reawaken people to the fact that voting for a black man isn't the end of America, and that a vote for McCain is a vote to continue the current Administration and its policies.

"One of the things we need to change in politics is that we cannot disagree without challenging each other's character and each others patriotism.

The times are too serious, the stakes are too high for this same partisan play book. So let us agree that patriotism has no party, I love this country and so do you and so does John McCain.

The men and women who served in our battlefields may be democrats and republicans and independents. But they have fought together and bled together, and some died together under the same proud flag. They have not served a red America or a blue America. They have served the United States of America."

-Obama

Thank you for putting it so eloquently for me.

Breaking Political News 10.16.2022

The Democratic Party's only Messiah, says Democrat leaders in every sector of American culture and society, have de-evolved into "Buzzkill" sociopaths in recent years.

Former President Obama is Very Disappointed: nypost.com...

Obama views the party from high above. He sees what Democrat nutjobs on the ground can't comprehend.
