I could never justify the war in Vietnam. But I don't keep score of evil through comparison. I can't forgive the Nazis because the Soviets killed more people, just like I would not forgive Ayers, who supports violence against the innocent, because others have done worse.

Tallying civilians killed or not, the main thrust is as enlarged above. There will be no charges. Because Obama didn't do anything illegal.

Someone give me a direct example of how Bill Ayres is any more of a "terrorist" than my little sister. What has he done that would make you call him a "terrorist"???

What they were doing back then was a direct response to the peoples wishes being ignored. He had a cause. He also never hurt anyone. The Weathermen wanted the people of the U.S. to SEE what an actual explosion LOOKED like because there are so many people walking around wearing red, white, and blue blindfolds they have NO IDEA WHAT WAR LOOKS LIKE. They just were sick of being ignored.

How do you think revolutions are started anyways?

For me I will feel much better as soon as Obama is elected, because I will know that help/change is on the way for someone like me. All I have to do is hold on until Obama is in office.

And as far as SHTF... that scenario is part of YOUR reality and YOUR administrations doing. The GOP are the hate/warmongers in America today. It's your political party that has brought us to this point, and as usual... it will take the DEMs to clean up the mess the NWO/GOP have made.

The reason for the economic situation....plain and simple...Democratic Congress. The President has very little power by himself.

Thought this post was supposed to be about the speech, and the issues it addressed, or not...

Guess I was wrong.
All I see is hate, unfunded accusations, already addressed lies...

The amount of hatred in America is boiling over. What will this hate bring? How will the pressure be released?

Guess some Americans just don't give a s*it! They are waiting for the "End of Times", for the "Apocalypse", for the "Second Coming" (not a porn flick, I think), or, worst, for a Word War against Russia, or China, or...

There used to be respect, and judgment, between the various candidates, and their supporters, now, I can only see hate, despise, lies and personal attacks...

America may have a democratic electoral process, but America's Democracy (Republic) is a dying corpse, continually being abused!!!

Last night I was uplifted, by a GREAT SPEECH, not that I agreed with all of it, but it was a clean exercise in Democracy. A respectful challenge, that can only be good for Democracy, as a whole, and that will oblige my Candidate to give his best, to debate the issues, to come up with better solutions, to the challenges America faces, both internal and external.

Today I feel let down, not by any candidate, but by the amount of poison being thrown by the fangs of hate mongers...

If ATS members represent the major trends in the USA, I hope they do not, then the USA, as the home of the free, and of tolerance, is already dead, it just doesn't know it yet!!!

What a great speech. I really hope Barack becomes president and that the avarage american doesn't get fooled once more and vote for the Bush clone, McCain, a president that only give tax breaks to mega corporations that ship jobs overseas and the billionaires.


McBush doesn't even know how many houses he own and think you're middle class if you earn 4,9 million yearly. He doesn't get it. He's too rich and lives in his own pink world.

Americans are smarter than voting for McBush.

I just find it amazing that the media is not giving more attention to the fact that the Bush/McCain Iraq war was based on pure lies and that senator Obama was one of the few that actually opposed this disaster.

That so many american soldiers have died because of war based on lies of weapons of mass destruction that did not exist and links to Al Qaida that were 100 percent false!

Bush/McCain removed the troops from the real war on terror, the mountains of Afghanistan and put them in harms way to fight a war based on lies, attacking a country that had nothing to do with 911 and no weapons of mass destruction.

Some figures say 800 000 Iraqi civilians have died from the war and millions are refugees. Not to mention the cost of the war. Why is this not more covered in the media I ask? I mean McBush even use the Iraq war disaster for his own campaign, saying the death toll have decreased because more american soldiers are there now, dying for an false cause. The point is, that country should not have been attacked!

How can a war based on pure lies not get more attention? It's just weird.

I just hope the war will get more attention in this election and not just the economy that the republicans ruined.

You really need to reseach what the New World Order is and what politicians and companies hope to realize it.

The New World Order will destroy the American Republic which our forefathers' wanted and we have enjoyed. It has afforded our success and quality of life among other good things.

This "NEW WORLD ORDER" that everyone fears is just a new guise and face to put on the concept of change for the better. We like things to stay the same. It seems everywhere I look, I see people who will attack political leaders who come out with fresh ideas, claiming they work with the NWO. When is enough going to be enough, and we all start working together for progress in this tailspinning nation?

Find Kennedy's speech on YouTube about the NWO and why it will be dangerous for America (mostly the citizens).

Is it any wonder, a short time after his speech against NWO, he ended up murdered by an ex-Marine for hire?

New World order means one government.

Goal 1: get each continent to become a Union
Goal 2: introduce currencies for each Union
Goal 3: consolidate each Union into one large Union
Goal 4: introduce global currency
Goal 5: make world citizens dependent on this one Global government in every facet of their lives.
