Why won't they shut-up and let us watch the convention?

Ihave it on PBS to avoid the commercials and see more of the convention. They won't let us watch the performers like Michael McDonald and others. We can't even watch them sing the Star Spangled Banner. We don't even get to hear the announcer announce the next speaker. Instead we have to watch the annointed ones tell us their take on it all.

Why can't they just show the convention uninterupted?

Because then they wouldn't be the talking heads that they are. Then we might get to think for ourselves and if that were allowed we might pick a politician who actually stands for the constitution and America.

Excellent point! Now, had I have posted this during the GOP convention, I would expect at least a dozen replies.
