A) They aren't even spiders to begin with, I believe it's called solpugid, but does count as arachnida (like most spiders.)

B)They aren't venomous because they have NO venom. They rely on their speed and jump attacks giving them a forceful bite. They're only 6 inches max. Pictures make them look bigger because they are so close to the spiders.

C)They feed on scorpions, lizards, and insects, BUT they will attack if they feel threatened. Which is why the dog could have been bitten and depending where it was bitten or if the dog was in a state of shock that's how the dog could have died.

All that other stuff is just legends.
