Economy 'Rebounds', Mostly Spurred By Exports

WASHINGTON (AP) - The economy shifted to a higher gear in the spring, growing at its fastest pace in nearly a year as foreign buyers snapped up U.S. exports and tax rebates spurred shoppers at home.

The Commerce Department reported Thursday that gross domestic product, or GDP, increased at a 3.3 percent annual rate in the April-June quarter. The revised reading was much better than the government's initial estimate of a 1.9 percent pace and exceeded economists' expectations for a 2.7 percent growth rate.

Ahhh, and our monthly dose of BS shoveled down the throats of this nation continues, courtesy of the gov pie-chart guys and numbers manipulators.

No matter how many jobs KEEP being lost, no matter how many homes are foreclosed on, no matter how much faster the COST OF EVERYTHING outpaces those who still have jobs incomes, that magical economy just keeps growing and growing according to these people! No recession here people, move on!

The only exports we are in the business of as of late would be the job exporting business.
