Bob Barr set to be the only candidate on the ballot in Texas

Ok, this has the potential to be huge.

Bob Barr is slated to be the only presidential candidate on the ballot in Texas after Republicans and Democrats missed the Aug. 26 deadline to file in the state.

"Unless the state of Texas violates their own election laws, Congressman Barr will be the only presidential candidate on the ballot," says Russell Verney, campaign manager for the Barr Campaign and the former campaign manager for Ross Perot. "Texas law makes no exceptions for missing deadlines."

The question is - Will the two party system violate election law and force themselves on the ballot? My mind definitely says yes and I think it's a shame.

There will be some exception made or the law will be changed retroactively. There's absolutely no way that either party will risk the fallout of nearly 10% of the country's population being disenfranchised in a presidential election.
