Michelle's speech inspired by radical socialist?
DNC address includes quotes from Alinsky treatise

Michelle Obama has delivered some rousing statements at the Democratic National Convention, where delegates are expected later this week to nominate her husband, Illinois Sen. Barack Obama, to be president.

But a blogger is pointing out that the statements appear to have been drawn from "Rules for Radicals," a book by dedicated socialist Saul Alinsky.

"What to make of Michelle Obama's use [of] the terms, 'The world as it is' and 'The world as it should be?'" wrote the Gateway Pundit today. "Try Chapter 2 of Saul Alinksy's book, 'Rules for Radicals.'"

"In last night's speech, Michelle Obama said something that [piqued] my curiosity," the blogger noted. "She said, 'Barack stood up that day,' talking about a visit to Chicago neighborhoods, 'and spoke words that have stayed with me ever since. I see we're back to trying to use Mr. Corsi's worldnetdaily as a source again.
Dear oh dear, jetxnet, will you ever learn?

I have to give Jetx credit for one thing: He sure sticks to his guns.

In spite of overwhelming evidence that shows that his accusations are false and untrue, he keeps coming at it - completely determined to keep the bandwagon going.

Democracy stands for tolerance, compassion, discipline, and equality.

"radical socialist" speech?

Im curious as to your opinion on how this is true. See...when submitting a new article - its courteous to have it accompanied with your opinion - you know - as to stimulate conversation.

The DNC tonight put more inspiration in me than i ever thought possible for the Obama campaign.

Call me a "sheep" all you want. I love what Obama stands for. I love what Biden stands for.

Call me a socialist if you want.
I'm an American.
Obama is an American.
You are an American.

And its because we live in America that you and I can disagree.

Call me whatever name helps you sleep better at night
Because come Nov. 2008 - the results are going to be clear.

Barack Obama will be the next President.

Are we being serious here?

This "radical" statement is a cliche' and has been used time and time again. Are we supposed to run for the hills and vote repub-mccain because michelle obama said a line that was similar to part of a book?

Exactly how much vetting needs to be done?
