someone else mentioned this too (earlier in the topic) and to be honest it did enter my mind too...the second plane hit at approximately 9:02
(NYTimes) or 9:03 (CNN) a.m.
now that coupled with the black flag could indeed be making a statement. what kind of statement is still the question, i guess.

The digital numbers are also just inserted onto the flag.
Image fakery no doubt.

Well folks... Lets take a brief look here...
We have 41 stripes right?
We have a black american flag.
The thing that was mentioned about the times... Sounds like the closest thing to me.
I see 13 stripes in both photographs of the flag.
I count 41 stars - no disagreement there.
Anyone remember The Coup- the hip hop group that had the album cover of "the WTC attacks" before they actually happened.
Disturbing coincidence?
DO YOU THINK this could be a message like what we saw.
Signs appear randomly in everything we do whether or not its actually meant to be there.

not exactly all that viral if no one noticed it till now? mere days before the release? in two cities...washington d.c. and atlanta? no other reports
so far.
the more i think about it, i'm not so sure. is it a case of them actually doing it or maybe someone piggybacking off of it?

whereas many of those who posted the jeezy info probably didn't read, there are some other points hidden away among the posts. so i wouldn't
discount everything just yet.

from another atlantan...a message to all of you who keep insisting the sigh is a FAKE and appear not to care to read...
"I can't believe the sheer number of people insisting on it being a photoshop fake. I'll be glad to pull the sign out of the damned ground and
photograph myself with it."
in addition, the one in DC on flickr doesn't look fake to me and the apparent owner posted here as well.

Oh my lord...
I realize that some times we post before we read the entire thread. I am fully guilty of doing this from time to time. So it's understandable that
some people look at the pic and automatically post a reply saying that it is photoshopped before realizing that we've proved it obviously isn't. In
fact I had to edit it because even after skimming most post I realized an idea I had talked about was already discussed. It's really hard to read
every single post. Especially in really long threads.
I really have to laugh, though, that some of you even tried to debunk it! Seriously?
Someone posts something mysterious that you don't know the answer to and it must be a hoax?
Just because you don't have the answers to something, doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

You should try watching MTV. It is in a T.I. video. It is suppose to represent peoples struggles during this 'recession' or something like that. Oh,
by the way T.I. is a rapper from Atlanta if anyone didn't already know that.

Time fits, so I think thats what it is. It's a memorial flag for 9-11. People do this type of thing alot. Remember when Dale Earnhardt died everyone
one wore a black armband with a number 3 on it. They have done it in baseball too, just can't remember the numbers or the people. We even had people
wear a memorial armband when I was in High School when a football player died.
I could be wrong though, but the time fits and we are nearing the anniversary.

Hi folks. I'm the one who took the photo in Atlanta. I'm quite surprised to see that so many folks believe in the "obvious photoshop" angle so
I've removed the sign and will provide new, improved photographs with a better camera probably by tomorrow. I'm still favoring the rap artist theory
since it was discovered outside a strip mall which features a hip-hop club and every light pole on the strip is plastered with rap artist
advertisements. But you never know. At least I am capable of ruling out the photoshop notion which I'll do in time. Thanks everyone for trying to
help identify this bizarre sign.
