Black flag represents anarchism? A band with bad taste?

well the black flag anarchists use is pure black, all black. there was also a punk band called black flag but that was in the 70s and their flag wasn't the stars and stripes.

When you google it you get the myspace page someone mentions above, probably in very very poor taste a release and subsequent death of some band.

Early 80s, dude. Black Flag was from the early 80s. I believe they started in 1980, but it's been a while since I read Our Band Could Be Your Life.
Sorry, I'm a music geek somewhat.

I think it is the release date for Micheal Moores follow up to Farenheit 9-11. The black flag and number graphics are typical for that type of Moore sensationalism.
I thought that Greg Ginn was dead, Rollins said a reunion was never going to happen about 10 years ago.

i think ramadan does start on that date. but i'm still puzzled they used the time indication if it's a date and not a time...artistic license maybe.

omg me too...lol. the person whose flickr it's in? from the middle east. i had to bite my lip...

i shouldn't kid about that, but it's just ironic funny the thoughts that go unbidden through your mind, you know?

*Ramadan 2008: The first day of Ramadan (fasting) in North America according to sighting, is expected to be September 02. However, according to Saudi Ummul-Qura calendar, Fiqh Council of North America, and European Council for Fatwa and Research, the first day of Ramadan is on Monday, September 01, 2008. From: www.holidays.net...

Well Ramadan definetly has some significance with this date. I had to laugh at your post man, that was hysterical!! haha
