He may release it from copyright, but all creations are "born" copyrighted.
Also, it's the easiest way of controlling this type of thing, wave a copyright notice and everyone will do what you want.
(d) where is the pro footage that could clear this up with factual evidence.Where the copyright owners want it to be.
