Does the Bible predict a
polar shift?
I have been reading in the book of Haggai chapter 2 and it says:
6 "This is what the LORD Almighty says: 'In a little while I will once more shake the heavens and the earth, the sea and the dry land. 7 I will
shake all nations...
but what is most interesting to me is that the date he(Haggai) keeps referencing is the "24th day of the 9th month" which is
Chislev 24.
18 ‘Consider now from this day forward, from the twenty-fourth day of the ninth month, from the day that the foundation of the LORD’s temple was
laid—consider it: 19 Is the seed still in the barn? As yet the vine, the fig tree, the pomegranate, and the olive tree have not yielded fruit. But
from this day I will bless you.’”
"Is the seed still in the barn?" Does this mean we should have seeds/food stored in order to replant and survive after this major event?
Of most interest to me, though, is the fact that this date(Chislev 24) when converted to the Gregorian calendar in the year 2012, this 'shaking of
the earth and nations', if literal, falls on December 21st.
December 21, 2012....go figure.
