Hey all.
So, I'm new to the site, specifically to see if anyone else has had any experience with this , or know of any stories related to my "sighting"
I work at Pure Nightclub in Las Vegas as a bartender... I was working on the patio this sunday and about 12:30am I glanced up above me and saw about 10-15 symbols in varying primary colors above me in an oval/soft square shape... I, fearing I was just overtired, and delerious asked my barback if he could see it as well. He looked up and stopped dead.."what is that??"...every customer that came up, we asked... they agreed they saw it and again had no explanation of what it was.. At one point literally everyone, roughly 500+ people were glancing upward, and puzzled. There were no light source below to cause any kind of light, and the symbols were so distinct, and unlike anything i'd ever seen. The light appeared to be coming from above. There were no light trails, and it was as clear as day, almost like neon, but a little fuzzier.
For 20 minutes, we watched it, not moving... eventually the light began to fade, as if it were simply going upward. The brighter symbols were still visible, but considerably lighter, and smaller....
then it was gone.


Does this kind of thing happen often?

The strangest thing to me was, that as soon as everyone had noticed it's precense, it was gone. And just as soon as it was gone, noone thought twice about it again, except for the staff (since we are not tourists, and work on that patio everynight, we know thats not a common occurence.)

Any thoughts?!
Las vegas is wild, and all... But I've never seen anything like that in my life. Completely unexplainable.

Sounds like an event people will tie to Project Blue or testing there of. It is interesting since it happened in Nevada with it proximity to military installations in that state.

Edit: This is a shot in the dark but can you reproduce a likeness of the symbols.

How could I do this? There were so many Its hard to remember the perfect shape of each one, but I definitely remember one or two, and have drawn them for friends... I will draw it again, take a pic, and upload it...

again, i dont recall each symbol... but these stood out the most to me.

Ive worked that patio every week for 2 months, and some of the staff has been there for 4 years. Noone had ever seen anything like it.
aside from the distinct symbols, what stands out the most is the abscence of any form of light source beneath it.
There are hundreds of spotlights pointing to the skies in las vegas , on the strip (I don't know if I mentioned this, but Pure is located on the strip), but these lights were completely seperate. You can always see the light source (meaning, which casino, or what part of the property its coming from, by the light trail from the ground- much like spotlights outside movie theaters, etc)
This was entirely seperate. and appeared to be exactly above us.
With my eyes, and from my perspective, it was about the size of a loaf of bread above me.. Not sure what kind of distance that would've been. But by the clarity of the symbols and brightness of the lights, i'd assume, rather large.

This sounds similar to the squiggly blue lines recorded in Stephenville Texas.

At this point we obviously don't really understand what these symbols are, but there are a few theories so far...

It could be some sort of holograms being tested from sattelites for something upcoming such as Project Bluebeam.

It could be actual projections from ET's, trying to communicate with symbols somehow.

It could be some sort of light show thing done by a casino or something in Vegas.

Or it could be some sort of weird hoax with laser pointers or something like that... most likely not though...

Thank you for sharing your story though. We need to pay attention to the skies more in the times to come.

It was black as night between each symbol. I can't often see stars in the sky here, especially on the strip, due to light "pollution", but no. there was nothing between them, or underneath them.
The light seemed to be coming from behind the symbols... again, like neon.. It looked like a neon sign that was slightly less powerful, and maybe if you were squinting your eyes a TAD. Very clear, though. No blurring, and no smoke or light disturbances around it.. if that makes sense.. No light was reflecting in the clouds *side note, it was partly cloudy this night, and it normally is clear as a bell* or causing any blurriness around it.

I could be laser show? Lasers cannot be seen until they hit smoke OR cloud. Were there clouds in the sky?

I had a short thought about aircraft cause but the triangle puts a bit a dent in that one. All the ground ambient lighting reflecting of something left behind from them.

I reckon you should try and make larger versions of these symbols and get them on the roof of the bar. (if that's possible,you can tap the bar manager on the shoulder and say "look over there" while next man hops on the roof to put them up. But I'm not sure if that works outside of cartoons) Failing that,maybe try and draw them with a stick in the dirt/dust/sand. Might attract them back again.

We thought of this also. Keep in mind, we had 20 minutes or so before it disappeared to try to figure it out somehow. We tried all angles..
It was literally above Pure, and there's nothing on our patio, aside from bar lighting, and an lcd that shines on a wall. This light is there every single night, and is a magenta color. Not pointed at the sky, and a single beam of light from a box. the lcd we project on the wall is of magenta flowers that dance along the wall. The symbols were unmoving, and in different colors...
I don't know, We are all bewildered. Strangest thing I've ever seen. We just found it odd, especially, with the way it disappeared.

I did grab the bar manager, kirk. Who is a great friend of mine, as well.
He kept saying "this is so cool. if this is what we think it is". haha He was more than excited about the idea of us being "chosen" to see it, or whatever..

All I know is. nothing has changed on our patio as far as lighting in 4 years. Its partly cloudy in the evenings occasionally, especially during the summer, as it's monsoon season.. but aside from rainstorms its not usually very "cloudy"... really, more of a hazy cloud cover.. there were strange cloud formations that night, but clouds are so weird anyway, noone every thinks twice about them. But they looked a little like a swooshy hazy arc, like a C laying on it's side.. The clouds, I mean.

You said you were working on Sunday. Was it 12:30AM on 8/24 sunday or 8/25 monday.

oh,but more importantly,next time,try to have a camera handy!! (someone out of the 500 or so people must have got the camera phone out and youtubed it,it would be my first thought!)

And I KNOW!!! Unfortunately I am not allowed to have a phone on me during business hours. So, I didnt catch it. But Im hoping that someone did. Im no photoexpert, but having modeled for years, I know that taking a picture of the sky at night is pretty difficult. Especially considering most people have their cameras set to autoflash. The flash simply washes out anything at a distance, and tries to focus on whatevers closer *which im assuming could either be a cloud, or nothing whatsoever*
The symbols appeared rather far away also.. It would be a miracle of someone caught it. I won't give up hope though!

Completely different way of showing symbols, as the ones I saw were completely unmoving, unwavering in light, or color, but some of the symbols looked slightly alike.
Mainly the ones resembling the "angelic text- celeste"
Star patterns definitely. I am going to look for the symbols I drew online.. not sure really where to start, but im dead set on finding out what the hell I saw.
