Choco.....you're referring to the speech by Cindy McCain....right?
So, that means you can see the future?
'vacuuous'???? Really?
No, if you want something soulless and completely void of emotion, then I'm looking forward to Mrs. McCain and the 'Coultergeist' next week.....
Ooooohhhhh......just sent a shiver down my spine!!!
edit....should not have confronted the poster....sorry.
BUT, I stand by my prediction of the GOP convention being a flop, in comparison.
Mrs. Obama is passionate, and an honest human being. 'vacuuous' she is not!!!

BUT, even if two grandparents.....just how 'rich' is Obama?? I think he owns one house, in Illinois. What is his Senate salary? What does Michelle
make?
See, you're learning young Padiwan. You are asking the right questions.
Yes, two Grandparents. Obama called his Grandma a "Typical White" person. He's thrown alot of those people "under the bus".
Obama lives in a mansion, look that up! He got a good deal though from his partner in crime, Tony Rezko.
Now, Obama makes over 4 million a year (even before running for POTUS).
How do you suppose that is? It's called "kickbacks" my friend. Your tax money going into his pocket via a Congressional approved Earmark for real
estate building in his Chicago District.
Obama got Rezko the Earmark and Rezko returned HUGE kickbacks from illegal land sales in Obama's Chicago district.
Obama also got Michelle a position on the Board of Directors for a large Chicago hosipital after becoming Senator.
Guess what that pays? Over 250,000/yr. for doing nothing (board of directors).
Obama also had Michelle change how they charge non-insured patients of that hospital. Michelle had it hiked up to 5 times the orignal cost of health
coverage!! The hosipital took in the extra profit and the Obama's got more money.
See what you find when you do a little research?

Yes.....jetxnet.....but why are you continuing to talk about the Senator???
...but, since you brought it up.....nah! I won't go there, everybody already knows the John McCain story....
So, Michelle Obama (and family) is worth at least $4M??? And this is problem, why???
She still has poise, and emotion, and confidence.....and she got to where SHE is by hard work, and intelligence....even against all of the odds that
exist against not only a woman, but a black woman!!
I say, it is worth some admiration.....
(and the Renze thing? Take the (alleged skeletons) somewhere else, but take it to a McCain thread!!!)

She is the 'Treehouse Foods' heiress, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Walmart.
Yes, she got her education payed for. Yes, she's always been spoiled rotten.
Does this mean she can't love the country that gave her all this wealth? No. She didn't like it anyway.
Check out her Walmart linkage:

I'm not sure where your getting your information, but what you have is quite inacurate regarding Rezco. I think you will find it was a little bit of
land purchased at market price so that the kids could have more room to play in the back yard. The house has nothing to do with him.
Why do you people keep spreading bogus info? You smear with non-factual information, and twist up stuff in such creative ways that it belongs at an
art show...I wouldn't mind a decent discussion with someone with other views or another party, but when it's flat out not true then there's no more
credibility my friend.
Why don't you instead promote the policies your guy stands for. If they are so great one would think you wouldn't waste your time on the opponent
if he's so bad as you say? Some of you hack types on here are so bizzare...
My last quote down there says it all. I knew I put it on here for a reason lol.

I suppose that's why Rezko was covicted of 16 counts of fraud, corruption etc.
The poor guy, all he was trying to do was give children a backyard to play in.

Yeah, sounds like a struggle alright. He really can identify with the guy who can't afford Gas and can't find a job.
Maybe he should inflate the tires on the 1969 Galaxy so he can afford a berger. Some people's kids I tell ya.
It causes me physical pain to read your posts, your atrocious grammar and spelling mask your ability to make a salient point. I find it a bit
difficult to take you seriously, and it shows a lack of respect for this board.
Back to the subject at hand:
I thought Mrs. Obama did a very good job. She is wonderfully eloquent and I thought she seemed quite sincere.
I'm still a bit on the fence about who to vote for, but as spouses go Michelle Obama certainly scored points in my book.

"U.S. Sen. Barack Obama expressed regret late Friday for his 2005 land purchase from now-indicted political fundraiser Antoin "Tony" Rezko in a
deal that enlarged the senator's yard.
"I consider this a mistake on my part and I regret it," Obama told the Chicago Sun-Times in an exclusive and revealing question-and-answer exchange
about the transaction. "

See what you find when you do a little research?
I find an ethical professional. I didn't realise how He and his wife met, and how it was they came to be married. We see two very intelligent hard
working Americans who dream big and make things happen, and they offer hope to the people. Her speech was far from fake. Did she spend a lot of time
preparing and rehersing? Of course, who wouldn't have. Did she get some help in writing it? maybe, but it was her speech, and I saw a very
brilliant woman and a lovely family with a very proud mother and grandmother, and then we saw a very very proud loving father and two darling
children.
I think they picked up at least a half a dozen million votes on that one! I don't think I have ever cried after a speech, but that one made the
tears roll.
Anyway, I thought you might want to read that article. I know you really wanted to search out the details on that one. Were you getting your stuff
from Limbaugh, Fox, and the right wing talking points? I understand McCain offers rewards for the one who can cut and past and post his talking
points the most on web sites like this one. Unbelievable!!!

C'mon, do not over-hype her now too. All we need is another over-hyped Demi-God like Obama.
I don't fall in love with speechs, or the people who make them. It's because I put logic before emotion.
Putting emotion before logic, yes, then you'd like Obama or Michelle and their emotionally engineered speeches.

Spectre, that's the Paridigm Shift of Obamatrons. It doesn't matter what they say, they'll always have an excuse.
Obama could piss in the wind and tell them it was raining, and believe his explanation as to why he was disrespecting them so.

NO, jet....the correct phrase is "Don't pee on my leg and tell me it's raining"
This is from Judge Judy.
Gotta get your references....
Why is it, though, that a right winger will have such a knee-jerk reaction, but will applaud loudly to the BS that comes out of the mouths of people
like Lieberman and McCain??
See? It's not much different, unless you actually know the people....this is what we're trying to do, to know these people. If you think this was
somehow 'staged' or not natural, then you didn't see the entire encounter.
AND, if you think that the GOP doesn't 'stage' an event.....then just keep lapping it up.....but, we will see in one week.

YOU HIT THE NAIL ON THE HEAD THERE. what will be the excuse if they get what they want, and really find out what they bought.
It's a form of brainwashing. It's funny, because i've seen Obamatrons use alot of the same terms repeated on the Obama Campaign website. Terms like
"baseless" etc. You can tell they've been on there several times.
Not too mention, the Obama campaign strategy is to make them feel like they have a Confidant in Obama. It's the same strategy people who want to use
you for something do.
It always gets me when you point something out factually (even in this thread), an Obamatron will come back with "but Obama said this ..".
See what's wrong with that? They're using Obama as a 100% trusted source as a rebuttal to a fact.
It doesn't matter what anyone else said, only what Obama says about it, as if it were fact, simply because he said it.
This borders on cult mentality.
As will all cults, the followers found their leader to have a "Golden Tounge of Treachury".

You Can View the Whole Speech Here If You Missed It
I thought it was a fantastic speech. No partisanship or political games, just an honest woman expressing her values and a vision to help keep America
great and improve it in the future.
jetxnet and his comrades have really hit rock bottom...Bringing up totally irrelevant points and resorting to false attacks in a desperate attempt to
smear something wonderful. Karl Rove is out in full force on ATS fellow posters, his minions just hide behind other names.
