Is it against the law...

...for you to enter into the other side of an 'Employees Only' entrance to see the operations behind the scenes like of a store?

What's buying a product if you are not alloed to see what goes on behind the scenes to ensure you're getting something satifactory with every other people or thing aspect that brought it right before you on some shelf being treated or maintained in satifactory?

Dont you feel a store should have nothing to hide if they are all-around satifactory?

You'd hate to find out their is a sweat shop behind the product or someone killing or enslaving done behind getting the product to you. Think of diamonds from Africa...

If we the ppl cant ask for a tour of behind the scenes to any business/company/etc.... Or if they dont hold scheduled tours on everything responsible for bringing you a presented product yearly... Then what does that tell you?

You know what? They should install cameras to see behind the scenes in every store/office/etc for the public (potential customers) to see as they want.

Only if we can put cameras in your house so I can see if I want to be your neighbor.

You could be charged with trespassing at the very least. Most of the employee's only places are marked for insurance reasons. There could be dangerous equipment or large items stored that could fall on a customer and hurt them. Usually, the employees will ask if the can help you and lead you to the outside. If there is a security or governmental sign saying keep out, I would not argue with it and stay out. If it is a military installation, one thing to remember is the Military Police do not play.

Not sure if it is illegal, but you sure as heck wouldn't be covered by their insurance if you injured yourself back there.
What type of store are you interested in seeing behind the scenes? Most back room areas have pallets and hand trucks full of merchandise. ( department stores and grocery stores ) Stacks and stacks of things to be stocked on shelves and incoming deliveries being unloaded all day long.

Having worked in retail i can tell you there aren't many great secrets back there. 'Cept if you want to use the employee breakroom .

But you don't have to take my word for it, why not get a job in retail and find out for yourself?

Why not ask for a tour or apply for a job?

Shouldn't be too hard to accomplish if you go about it in the right way.

if you realy want to find out the secrets of any business, use the employee restroom. I can only speak for the male restrooms, but there is usually a wealth of information there, things like "don't look here, the joke is in your hand" and such.

Not really sure what this has to do with Area51 and govt. installations but if i could go anywhere behind close doors it would be the count room in any vegas casino.
