Missing Money

Topic started on 17-3-2004 @ 04:49 PM by TJ11240

If you guys are right, then the US gov't is spending billions- maybe even trillions on top secret projects that no civilian knows about. My question is where did the funding go for the basic technological advances in the economy. The money required to run some of these secret agencies and plants must be a great portion of the annual tax return. Why isn't the gov't spending it on worthwhile research such as that of nuclear fusion or stem cells? Your thoughts are appreciated.

How do you know those things aren't being studied in these "classified" programs you mentioned?

What is to classify about them? Those subjects are for the good of humanity, so what harm would come from enlightening the world on their progress?
