Could someone make a condensed version of what the video shows?
I don't want to see some guy shouting in my face for 5 minutes just to come to the conclusion that capitalism is interested in making money from the
Internet.
And about paying by Gigabyte downloaded, here in Portugal we started that way, almost all ISPs had a download limit and slow speeds, but now are
changing to a no limits, higher speed access, so maybe you just have to change country.

I think myself as well as some others out there would literally snap and go postal. The ability to go on google and search for any answer to any
question you ever wanted is such a valuable asset to our lives. It's what helps us to be further educated. If they censor the internet we'll be
drones forever... brainwashed... not good...

The internet is already censored.
Even this site censors it's members.
Do you believe that some censorship is neccesary?
If so, and I think maybe it is, then where do you draw the line?
Also, how can you judge the next generation of internet when you haven't even seen it?
If you want to know what the next generation of the internet will look like in years to come, is Alex Jones really the man to ask?
If the next generation removes snake oil ads and the like from sites like InfoWars, Prison Planet and Rense et al then I will definately be cheering
it in

Having had a large number of dealings with the nsa and other agencies over the years about this issue I will post some of what I know about it and the
problems the internet is running into.
Bill gates when he created windows and sold it to the U.S. Gov they replaced almost all of the computers with windows accept for a few systems. In
1998 the NSA ran into what people now know as the 2000 Y2k crisis the nsa was actually down for 3 or 4 days I forget off the top of my head.
Anyway windows is a failed system windows XP is really windows 3.1 upgraded to look better and Xp and all of the windows sense 3.1 have been either
shell versions or versions without a working version of DOS.
Dos being Direct Operating System. Even with the nsa's 3 miles of computers in fort meed all of that software and hardware still crashed due to
faulty programming. Bill clinton when he was still in office he decided to higher overseas company's mainly in india to fix the Y2k crisis before it
was surpose to have occured.
Come to find out our loving mr. clinton and associates helped to undermine the nsa and other agecies in the united states when india and chinese
companies came into the united states our software was given a back door so all our secrets and other technologies could be laundered outside with the
back door's built into window's operating systems.
Many people that complained about this issue in the nsa and other agencies were let go or fired because of there knowledge of this and other event's
related to it.
The internet was built on these kinds of failed principles and it doesnt help that fortune 500 companies and overseas interest's have been buying up
company's that are the backbone to the internet. I know the problems facing the nsa's department of agriculture and I dont know if even I could fix
what the agency has done trying to improve crop yeld using super computer forcast's super crops have there problem's.
Back in 2002 the biggest If I remember right was a tera flop 3 to 6 trillion calculations per second im not sure what it is now but spending all your
money on the next big fix doesnt fix the problems you already had and thats what need's to have changed along time ago in the nsa.
Same thing for the internet even with the ablity to process that amount of calculations you still have to have a server capiable of handing that
amount of information without melting the chip or causing the wires or transfure methods to overheat and explode.
Washington and the FBI might want to regulate the internet along with other groups of people and many people might want to censor it but there problem
is most of them simply lack the ablity to comprehend what it takes to run a country let alone keep a country fed and safe every day.
Just taking law enforcement lets say the FBI has 250,000 people working for it they still have to investigate 280 million people that's 1 million
people per person and to program a computer or make a computer program that can keep track of 100,000 people is one thing to make a computer program
that can track and monitor 280 million is another thing all togther.
It also doesnt help the agecies that have the people that can make these kinds of things to fire people that either know too much or get rid of them
for political reasons.
I know the man down in austrailia that gave up trying to make artifical intelligence several years ago he was light years ahead of anything thats
currently been developed or attempted to be made and he gave up trying to program artifical intelligence he estimated it would be 100 years of more
scientific advancements before it would be remotly possible to program such a thing.
By then you could in theroy make a computer to monitor and keep track of perhaps 6 billion people a day maybe even a second and possibly store and
house the information but how long would it stay for?
Every single kind of information storage devices break down that have been devopled so far and the internet is no acception to that rule. If there is
going to be a new internet I would like to see apple computer company develop it and not bill gates.
Bill gates is already under investigation for espionage same as rupert murdoc for conspiring to undermine the u.s. dollar and other things I cant
discuss here but I do know bill gates is being gone after by the doj and nsa for putting out faulty software and faulty hardware.
The nsa privetly employes about 3 million people even 3 million people armed with the most advanced technologies couldnt stop 9-11 and couldnt stop or
a better way to put it wouldnt stop also the pentagon attack from occuring.
When I get more time I will start a discussion on what nano technology is going to be attempted to be used for because it partly ties into this
discussion but this is more then enough 2 cents for now.

DOS was a language introduced in the 70s as Pro-DOS on the early apple computers
Novell DOS on early networked systems
PT-DOS, OPEN-DOS, FreeDOS, 4DOS, and others sprung from it
Gates basically took that and turned it into MS-DOS
it stands for Disk Operating System and was designed on the format of pulling and storing information on a removable storage device. In those days it
was the new disk drives that replaced tape drives
computer industry was just beginning to bloom back then with the first computers showing up in homes.
We geeks were really the only ones who made enough of a use for it with our computer gaming fetish which was alive and well even in homes back then.
(early to late 80s)
I remember windows 3.11 and 95 as they were released, and the implications they carried. The internet's release and implementation was an
inevitability and its potential to change the world was recognized back then.
Sometimes I ponder the idea that if these alarmist are correct, and we already are under a control we cant see, then perhaps the freedom we were
allowed to have via the net, that maybe this has been just a huge monitoring system to see who will go on what list for when the crap hits the fan,
they already know who's door to go knock on when rounding up "dissidents" because we have all been feeding our viewing habits and interests into AI
computer generated dossiers
I dunno, I dunno
But the dates on these plans seems to match other dates as far as a cohesive plan, such as codex alimentarius. It seems that if this NWO plans to hit
on more fronts than just the net neutrality front, like economic turmoil so bad then there will be a "bump" in our lives in which we have no
electricity, food, water, and all the life altering changes that can happen simultaneously during a temp crash in normal life
that makes sense that this NEW internet package would be all that is left as far as a replacement package without having to "strip" the old system
from your outstretched hands which would cause more dissent
all speculation on already existing alarmist theories on how the USA will be "downsized" to an easier to control people.
Regardless, the source of these laws either being from the cooperate world, or the gov itself, it can be said they are one in the same (FISA). Perhaps
the gov is behind and this is an exercise in mitigation or they are not and they are finished collecting their data and are about to begin a new level
of control.
Just tossing out ideas here
peace

>> Is the Internet About to be Censored ??
I'd say.. no and the proof is in the multitude of retarded posts this website gets every day, this one and digg, reddit, huff, NTY, WT, O'Reilly,
KO.. the list goes on and on..
whatever your depravity (mine included), political affiliation or conspiracy flavor of the month, you can find it on the net.
no one is censoring you people, much of the cited content that is claimed to be "censored" is protected property.
One example: From the Brainiac previously posting the example of NBC content. NBC Olympic content is "for one country" only because NBC isn't going
to give it away "free".. that aint censorship people, that's business.
Cutting back bittorent file sharing isn't censorship (it's stupid.. yes) but it isn't censorship. Taking off copyrighted materials and suing
people is not censorship (it's stupid.. yes) but it isn't censorship.
There are some examples of censorship.. there always will be, and they are usually dealt with quickly and embarrass the party attempting that bull#,
but I have YET to see one single post on this site that has been 'Taken down", where is the Alien landing video that was "taken down" from
YouTube, the images cofiscated?
DAILY I see posts on ATSwhere people say "hurry up and back that up" or "it'll be gone tommorow", and comments like this and yet NEVER has
anything (that wasn't copyrighted) been removed from ATS or an affiliated site that was hosting something.
You know where the censorship is? It from the people who want to take away my right to say the offensive term of the week.. like "retarded", it's
not the government, its the activist ahole next to you.
Of course, I could be wrong... :>

Ok, so if something's been taken down THEN YOU'RE NOT GOING TO SEE IT!
Seriously dude, I've seen videos that were on here for maybe a day and then they disappear without me being able to see it, usually something
monumental.
Also BitTorrent stuff is sharing, just like WAREZ (which is still alive and kickin'), it's not illegal, to say it's illegal would be like saying
that I can't let you listen to my CD or let you play my video game on my console.

You're not sharing it though are you? You're basically taking it away for free to keep on your machine. You can't plead innocence when you know
damn well downloading films, music and games without paying, is stealing from the author.

The internet is already censored. By how a search yields results to the watering down of legitimate discussion and posts on ATS itself. Some
searches yield few results and you can bet that all people searching for those radical ideas or taboo thoughts are tracked. Also if you frequent the
ATS threads you will see the same few people debunking or dis-informing the threads over and over again. I come to almost ignore the posts they make
because I believe they have an agenda to disrupt those threads. I forget who but some great thinker once said “each mans religion is in his own
heart” and I believe he meant was “what each man believes in is his own heart” . We may not be able to stop the censorship of any of the info we
receive in fact the info we do receive may be carefully selected for us. But we do have a choice as to how we dissimulate the info in to our thoughts.
And although I am not a big fan of Buda I believe he is credited with this quote … “ The truth is harder to hide than the moon and the sun”
peace and keep your mindset your own.
