Absolutely - since Obama's campaign message is all about "change". And 30 years of Washington experience equates to nothing more than keeping the status quo.

When Bush choose Cheney in 2000, the media's word of the day was "gravitas".

We have the same situation of an inexperienced candidate choosing a very experienced Vice President, yet "gravitas" is not dared mentioned by the MSM. The MSM must believe that Lord Messiah Obama is not capable of needing gravitas?

Biden seems to favour US miltary focus on the southern asia / caspian sea area.. rather than the middle east , along with Obama's advisor's Holbrooke and Brzezinski . So wheras Cheney and the neocons may have used Iraq and the ME for corporate interests , having Biden there will solidify a more geostrategic 'imperative' for a re direction of focus to these new areas . Obviously to co incide with a troop pullout in Iraq for re deployment in afghanistan and beyond .

But the point of this thread is that the selection of Biden by "the goons on the left", will not help bring about change. So, if one wants to support Obama (and that has been his theme), your support would be based on what? That's the key question. Because as I pointed out with a previous poster, so many seem to support Obama without having a clue why they do. If you ask them why, all you get are a few "sound bites", with no substance underneath.

I tried to find a reason why Obama chose Biden to be his running mate, and the age and experience reason while makes it sound right still do not answer the question of why choosing a man that used such harsh words against obama youth and inexperience for campaign purposes when he was running for president candidate.

Something doesn't add here and to tell you the truth I feel that Obama willingly didn't chose Biden, Biden was chosen for him and whatever Biden is aligned with, lobbyist money comes into question.

When Biden was announced as VP candidate I honestly thought the same thing, "here we go again, another empty puppet being controlled by his #2".


Any fool can see that Biden will be running the show from behind the scenes, frankly because Obama will have to go to him for help due to his lack of knowledge and know how. 30+ years in politics he will know every wheel to grease and every butt to kiss.


But I will agree with Dr. Love, at least Biden isnt so much of a lunatic. At least it isnt the vibe he is putting off thus far. Zionist, maybe, evil manipulator hell bent on world domination, meh not so much.


It does, however, make me wonder what the real purpose was behind nominating Obama for president. To me Biden as the main candidate with Obama as his VP choice would have made logical sense. Perhaps they are trying to appeal to that dormant segment of the non voting Democratic party, the ones who will sway the difference in November.


To me Biden's wealth of knowledge and experience will eventually end up making Obama look bad. How can you be the boss of someone who knows ten times more than you do about the job at hand?
