2008 Summer Games, the Gold, the Silver and the Bronze medal count. By country.

USA 110; China 100;* Russia 72; Great Britain 47; Australia 46; Germany 41; France 40; South Korea 31; Italy 22; Ukraine 27; Japan 25; Cuba 24; Belarus 19; Spain 18; Canada 18; Netherlands 16; Brazil 15; Kenya 14; Kazakhstan 13; Jamaica 11; Poland 10; Hungary 10; Norway 10; New Zealand 9. Romania and Turkey tied with 8 medals each. For unlisted countries see link below.

The following countries received ONE gold medal: Bahrain; Cameroon; Panama; and Tunisia.

The following countries received ONE silver medal: Chile; Ecuador; Iceland; Malaysia; Singapore; South Africa; Sudan; and Vietnam.

china didn't win 108, they won 100. they won more gold medals than anyone though.

I suggest you change the title to correspond to the opening post or the post to follow the title.

The list you posted has the total of the medals, not the gold, as you say in the title.

And Portugal got one gold and one silver medal.
