The # has hit the fan today. But is it of any surprise being the 20th of March, the anniversary of the US led Iraq invasion?...

Banshee, I've searched the news stations in Maryland and found nothing on their sites. Is this an on-air broadcast only?

I saw this on Fox too.

They're probably not covering it because they dont have enough information or have been asked not to.

Flying a chopper over a navy base is bad, they may have struck an agreement.

I assure you this DID happen.

Are you sure that it wasn't in Portland? There is a report of an explosion there at an old concrete factory that had been on fire.

PORTLAND -- An explosion next door to the site of Monday's industrial fire was felt for miles Wednesday morning. The explosion happened before noon at 6400 S.E. 101st Ave., just north of the fire scene.

I just saw something on local news and it was an accident with fuel near a missle. Nothing serious according to www.nbc4.com...

INDIAN HEAD, Md. -- Four people were burned Wednesday afternoon at a naval weapons facility in Charles County, Md.

A Navy representative said the crew was working with a propellant that ignited and created a flash fire. Four people were hurt and sent to an area hospital.
