Martin,
All your good ammo is being sold here as surplus by your government. I just bought 5000 rds of .308 and another 2500 of .233 that is South Afrcan manufacture. Its realy realy good ammo too. I hope you get the rights you used to have back. I loved being there in the 60's and wish alot of the things that used to be still where. Good luck, I only wish the best for South Africa.

I have to ask you one question??? You as a soldier. Would you drop the biologicals on your own countrymen and women???

Zindo

I as a soldier would not take part in any attack on civilian population. That does not mean that the many minds poisoned from the current wars would not. I also believe that we are heading to a definite war with Iran under a McCain administration. The point I was trying to make was why do people worry more about their gun collection then the stability of our nation? Lets worry about losing our homes before our freakin weopons....

See, I believe more of our military believes like you do that they would not fire upon US citizens that might at some future date take up arms to rekindle the rights garranteed by the constitution. That includes many officers of high rank. Just my opinion, but it is something to think on about just how much our 2nd amendment clarifies the prospect of armed revolt! Our Congress Critters realy need to be reminded that its a definate possibility should they actualy try to dissassemble the document!!

Just what the he!! can we do about our economy? Not a dang thing is what. We do not have control of the Federal Reserve that is causing this problem. We can not vote them out of office as they are an unelected private corporation that has control of the money supply. We can try and elect law makers and leaders who will get rid of the corrupt Fed but there does not seem to be enough of us to get that accomplished in the United States. If we do not treat the root of the problem we will never be rid of it. The fed has got to go. The corrupt politicians have got to go and all of the tax eating parasites in Washington DC have got to go before we can address the problem of the economy. If we don't have the numbers to vote these scum bags out of office just how do you think we are going to change anything?

I purchased a bunch of that South African ammo as well in 223 and 308 and 7.62X54. It is great ammo. It is some of the best factory loads for the money I have ever shot. I learned that they purchased all of their manufacturing equipment from Germany. The Germans make some good ammo as well but expensive. This SA ammo is made on the German equipment though so it is just about as good. With my FAL I can put an 8 shot group within 2" at 400 meters with it. That is pretty tight for a factory load. That is bag supported shooting of course and no wind to speak of.

Wow, too much caffeine? Anyways, read my post carefully and I pretty much agree with everything you just relayed to me. You do put too much faith in the Federal Reserve destroying our economy. Yes they have played a key role in keeping us in debt. But the FR did not ship a good majority of our jobs to Mexico and China. The FR did not force ma & pops shops to close down, Wal Mart did that. What we do need is an Aministration to bring these jobs back home. I have no faith that McCain can do this. I actually believe he will make things worse by going to war. Don't not vote for Obama-Biden because you are afraid of losing your guns. Make your decision based on what's best for the U.S, and that in my opinion is a Obama administration.

My shooting buddy has an M1A thats a very expensive match grade arm. He meticulously hand loads in .308. I had him shoot a few of the SA .308 ammo from the bench and the groups where extremely close to his match loads. He was and is just a bit Pissed,LOL!!!

Liberty values voter have no candidate on the ballet again this go round. Obama Biden is not going to protect our freedom any more than McCain and who ever he puts on his ticket. With either one we are screwed. I have to agree we will likely see war with Iran faster with McCain. That is something that will destroy the world economy not just ours by the way the Iranians will see to that. Obama is a straight socialist, world government loving, gun grabbing liberal and Biden is not any different. McCain is a war hawk neocon that does not even know how to turn on a computer so he is going to be worth next to nothing for a 21st century United States other than to line the pockets of the fat cats that put him in office. We have no presidential candidate worth anything in my opinion. We are screwed either way. Same ol same ol. This stupid left right paradigm is just marching us further along into a hybrid Corporatist-Socialist state.

I agre with plenty of what you say. But I do believe too much conspiracy stuff is a bad thing. You start believing everyone and thing is out to destroy you. don't always believe what you hear. Especially when it comes presidential nominees. People get paid to dirt ones name. Have some faith in mankind and that there are still others out there that are trying to better American life. I trust in Obama, I don't let all the propoganda towards him ruin my outlook on him. He may not be my number one choice, but I do believe he is the best choice. I really don't think Biden is a threat to the Second Amendment, atleast not as much as others believe

Obama Bin Biden is the greatest threat that this nation has ever witnessed! Screw the war on terror, the real terror comes if this Marxist Liberal kook takes the presidency. The part that scares me the most is that almost 90% of all blacks are going to vote for Obama... why? Just because he's black!
Absolutely not a care in the world if he's right for America or has an agenda that benefits the country; he's black and that is all that matters.

Truth be told, this country is screwed because the vast majority of it's citizens are DOLTS!
Under-educated, mouth-breathing idiots. We are witnessing the final phase of a moronification of a nation and we are loath to do anything to stop it. Rest assured, when this failed policy is implemented once again, we will have taken a massive step toward tyranny and the drooling masses will be none the wiser. Every day I become more and more saddened that we are destined to be ruled over like chattle in a field.

How come so many threads lately lead to the race card? Do black's not have enough intelligence to decide which is the better candiate? Is this not the ignorance we should be denying? As long as the country stays this divided as this we have no hope. So kudos to you for proving my point....

Only a tiny hand full of our elected leaders voted against the Patriot act. That was right out in the open not some hidden conspiracy. They then voted for the war in Iraq based on intelligence that was basically just made up to sell this war. On 9/10/01 congresswoman Cynthia McKinney had Donald Rumsfeld the then Secretary of Defense in the hot seat asking him to explain the 2.3 trillion dollars that the DOD could not account for. We all know what happened the next day. Conspiracies do not require your belief. They in fact work much better if very few would believe them to exist. Our freedoms have been systematically eroded for the past 100 years and not by accident. Believe what you want. I believe we are screwed either way in this election. I read about 50 to 60 books a year. Most people just don't do much more than flip on the TV after they get done with their 9 to 5. You just can not get enough information to make an informed decision with that. Unfortunately the overwhelming majority of voters in this nation are couch potato, remote control holding idiots. Their votes will always out number people like me so we will keep getting these freedom destroying politicians elected. Of course 100 years ago the average 8th grade student had a better education than the average high school graduate of today.

Kind of funny you mentioned that. I broke down each and every aspect of education that had been removed, replaced, and rewritten since the 1960s and when people read about what was done to them in the education system they were pissed off to say the least. High skool grads post 1975 (thats what I call them, like playskool brand kids) were given a bunch of bogus filler and at the same time the right/left brain teaching was altered to keep them as docile worker drones since the full level of thinking was suppressed for the entire duration of education. No one ever stops to ask what the curriculum is and why it was selected. Nor do they look at the other potential curriculum that could have been selected. That is why we have a nation of boneheads sitting around watching tila tequila and the real world thinking they got something for their education time. They remain clueless, to their dying days yet they insist they know it all and have not one bit of experience to back them up.

Yes an afternoon at the coffee shop with me is a real wake up because I know all the missing pieces to the puzzle.

i think we'll be alright, provided Obama doesn't get into office, which i don't think will happen. i hear of how something's going to happen before the election, which will cause McCain to get into office... is it true? i don't know, but it will be interesting to see what happens!

as for gun laws, well i only own a shotty, and i'm not into guns as most. i think violence solves nothing, and there's a greater meaning to life than being material!

peace!

Interesting article indeed, I have the feeling that Obama didn't chose Biden personally, he was chosen for him.

I can tell that many supporters of Obama are disappointed by the choice of VP.

But I can only imagine the gun happy people (my husband included) that would never vote of Obama and his anti-gun VP.

This group are in he hundreds of thousands.

Last count..130,000,000 million gun owners. If they vote enmass on just this one issue, Obama is doomed. Its happened before, its very likely to happen again. I'm not a McCain supporter but I sure as hell ain't an Obama/Biden voter either. Mr. Snide has lots of enemies in the voting public. I hope this mistake by Obama's handlers helps us ( 2nd Amendment voters) in this issue! I feel it will!!
