Pretty self-explanatory

CNN
MSNBC

Good experienced choice imo.
Hard to find too many faults in Biden.
Pretty big power player.

As i'm not American i really don't know who Joe Biden is but i would think Hillary Clinton would be ticked off ?? But we all know that John Mccain will be your next leader

An Obama/Biden ticket.

I wasn't too hot on Biden until I watched some videos of him on Youtube - It's clear that he is a strong man not afraid to speak what he means, and he'll be an extremely effective attack dog for Obama.

Since the speculation right now is that McCain will choose Romney, I think a Biden-Romney debate would be great. They're sort of mirror world versions of each other, except Biden hasn't drastically changed his position on social issues in the past few years.

Ya Biden is like a pitbull... Even though he is 65, he still seems like he can throw a nasty right hook!!! In fact I think he is one of the toughest SOB I have ever seen in politics. Good choice... I hope he turns really red and then punches Mccain in his bulbous cheek!

It's not too surprising considering all factors. It was probably the best choice Obama could have made. All that's left now is to see McCain's VP pick.

That is one freaky coincidence. Let's just hope it's only a coincidence and has no significance, since we all know how the people in power like to play with symbols and subliminals.

I agree. McCain however will have a tough time imo to find a vp candidate that completes the GOP ticket as well as Biden does for the dems.

A few things about Biden I think are worth pointing out:

He's apparently the least wealthy Senator
Georgia requested him specifically to come over and help negotiations
His son is going to be serving in Iraq in October

All of these could easily come up as positives for him that will resonate with a lot of voters.

Andrea Mitchell from earlier on NBC Nightly news EST stated kind of smugly that Biden was the choice. Too many things lined up even down to having a substitute for the law class he teaches at Widener (??) stating his students will be the first to know.

Who knows... watch it being something else and this is all a big curve ball.

It will start tomorrow if Biden is the VP. The republicans will bring his plagarism issue from 2 decades ago. I could really care less about that.

As someone mentioned earlier, he is not exactly wealthy. Compare that to Romney who is worth about 200 million. Lets see; who do I believe will have the average Americans back. It won't be McRomney.
