SRI Lankan troops found suicide bombing kits inside a Roman Catholic church in Colombo, the defence ministry said.

Acting on a tip-off, soldiers searched the church and discovered material and accessories for making suicide kits generally used by the rebel Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE), the statement said.

There was no immediate comment from the church.

I am wondering if the church knew about this or if they were unwitting accplances? The church is not commenting but we cannot guess either way from that.....
