The legal team for this guy apparently believe this ruling will uncover the fact that he was tortured to extract a confession. If they're right - how will it change your views of the rights and wrongs of detention at Guantanamo?

At the very least, it seems to me, what this demonstrates is the practical flaw in the arrogance of a policy that treats international suspects in this way, without considering the chances of his later pursuing this sort of legal action.
