ATS: Many Think U.S. Wants World Domination, NWO?

WASHINGTON - A majority of people living in Jordan, Morocco, Pakistan and Turkey say they believe the U.S. is conducting its campaign against terror to control Mideast oil and to dominate the world, according to an international poll released Tuesday.

A sizable number of people in France, Germany and Russia also have these suspicions about the campaign against terror, according to the Pew Global Attitudes Project.

A majority of those in Britain, France, Germany, Russia and Turkey think Western Europe should take a more independent approach to security and diplomatic matters.

Spanish Prime Minister Jose Maria Aznar's conservative group bacame the first backers of the US led attack of Iraq to be ousted from power. Speculation of a New World Order (One World Government) on ATS, as well as others, has been an ongoing topic for years. Pope John Paul II has talked publicly of this, saying, "By the end of this decade (2000 AD), we will live under the first One World Government that has ever existed in the society of nations...a government with absolute authority to decide the basic issues of human survival. One world government is inevitable." He has also called for the ouster of The United Nations, in favor of a One World Government.

The Majority of people questioned, aside from the US and Britian, felt the war on terror was not sincere. Seven out of Ten people in the US believe it is sincere, I would like to know where and to whom the society of people were polled from. I guess I would be considered in the 30%.

Its interesting that polls in Pakistan and Jordan conflict with polls just out of Iraq that say people feel they are better off now than under the rule of Saddam.

It's funny that no one trusts the US, yet most of the US is made up of immigrants who have abandoned these other countries that don't trust us!!

Of course the truth is that the world does not trust white men who look so "corporate"...our (the US) leaders don't give off a vibe of being for the common man around the world...they give off a vibe of elitism.

If the Middle East doesn't trust us, then that is fine...their choice in leadership is nothing I would wish upon my country. France will never be happy with anything anyone does. Russia plays a power game so they are slick bunch to watch. Germany I feel is in a downshift mode and just wants to go with the flow and not worry about things anymore.

People hate a champion that keeps winning, I understand that...but the US people really don't know jack about the international world. The international community has to understand this!! The UN should demand that the US media become more internationally in tune with world views instead of showing Israel v. Palestine every night. Americans have a very poor understanding of the global community.

China is your fear my friends...cheap and highly educated labor with govt backing will rock the world soon. The US knocks on your front door, while China sneaks in through the back.

I can see why people think that the US wants world domination, and I partly agree. I don't like the US. I'm not a terrorist, hell I was born in Chicago. The US just seems to think they're all that. Seriously, this should just # off and keep to themselves. No offense...

I don't get it because everyone thinks their country is all that--america IS all that and if we say it we come off looking arrogant...so be it...it's the truth. Should we lie to appease other's ego? It's nice here, get over it.

But, to think all of the hate and mistrust comes from our pride is too simplistic. We do some dirt, but we are not alone. Every nation is out there jockeying for position in the world to come. America's goal is to control the international institutions because they are the government of the future--they already own our sovereignty. But, the goal of everyone else is the same damn thing because they know now is the time to strike. Everything is up for grabs. France didn't opposed the Iraq War because they love life. No one likes to be an underling. Now we talk about France as if they were a superpower. Strong opposition carries weight. They were grabbing for power just like the US was trying to preserve power. Anyone that doesn't notice what's going on has their head in the sand...no one gives a # about Pakistan and Jordan think. The real story is that the EU is winning by painting the US as the lone power-hungry nation. Now we are hated--who does that benefit?

An overwhelming majority of America's 290 million citizens want nothing more than to have peace, enjoy their freedoms, have the opportunity to live happy and provide a better life for their family. A small percentage of shadowy figures that exist in the US government do not represent the American citizens.

Millions of immigrants try to get into the United States every year sometimes risking their own lives. They know that if they can get into American they have a chance of providing their families with a better life.

Part of the NWO strategy very well might be to get the citizens of different countries to hate and fight each other as a distraction. Governments and media sources plant these ideas that we must hate the people of other countries because of what their current leadership has done.

A lot of this feeling is propaganda from governments or leaders who want to treat their citizens like &*$%@. They know that if the U.S. had enough influence in their country, they would have to surrender their 20 palaces and 30 wives, and give an account for their actions.
Since they want to remain in control they posion minds with lies, and shoot anyone that has unrestricted Internet access or sattalite tv. Other countries just plain don't like us because they aren't the big boys in the world anymore. (France, Germany)

Of course this isn't to say that we don't use our influence for the good of our country. What self respecting country wouldn't do the same. Everybody is looking out for #1.

unfortunately, some in other countries seem to lump everything into one basket...much like some people in the US do.

The government is showing the signs of domination..but it is just not the US...eventually all governments will join the "coalition"...Europe and England are well on their way...

What is happening is more readily seen by those that do not have to deal with it on a day to day basis...but view it from outside the box.

While that 'could' be true, to me, I personally think that is not the case. As somebody just posted, many of these other countries blend American's the the US goverment together. And to be honest, that is a very unfortunate thing.
