Dont you love how as soon as someone is backed into a corner,all that is left is pointless name calling. All that guy was doing was plugging someone elses' show, which I thought was against the rules.

This page shows some internal pics of apertures. I honestly have no idea what causes the "notch" (the tether type ufo), but its due to aperture and I have seen many. Even if a dust particle gets in the way, it can distort things in strange ways.

If someone has too much of free time, he can post a query on some good photography forum to find that out. I'm done here.
