China, Georgia, and the Moon

If this is an improper venue/ forum, my apologies, and I welcome a moderator moving it as necessary.

Is there anything to our dreams? I'm one of those people who, if I get hurt in a dream, retain some of the pain through to the next morning. Or if something emotional happens, I wake and feel it as though it were real. (Not sure what the official title for that is)

Last night I had a dream where China got involved in the Georgia situation and was causing some seriously bad mojo. Like, world changing bad mojo. It was enough to actually make me get out of bed and up for the day bad. Then, not 2 hours later I was driving into work and saw the absolutely-scariest blood moon in my life. I took a picture on my phone, but it came out terribly - looks photo shopped.

Do they mean anything? Or is it just the subconscious trying to work it all out/. I'd never really considered the Georgia situation in any serious terms until today, but now I can't stop reading about it and trying to learn all I can.
