Could it be that the bigfoot was real, but due to government, vatican, ect. they had to make it out to be a fake? Just a thought??

And ths is why I am skeptic until some actual semblence of proof is produced. I was very skeptic once there was no video at their conference, just some very bad pictures. Not to mention they didn't have anyone to speak of really look at it. And yet some folks bought it hook, link and sinker.

So.. the next time a skeptic says "looks like a rock" about something on Mars, there is no need to get nasty. Just like this, they prefer to have some proof other than a blurry picture and some rather outspoken folks saying "omg this has to be real!"

There is a reason Stanton Friedman is my favorite researcher. And why I feel his work is the most important of all. Because I can know without a shadow of a doubt, that there is SOMETHING THERE.. when he says there is something there. Because he doesn't take anything at face value, and does not jump all over the wild-guesswork bandwagon. Some folks call him boring and claim he hasn't produced anything significant, yet I believe he has produced the most significant finds of all.

I learned a long time ago to wait till the very end of some claimed evidence.
I wanted to believe it was real but experiences have taught me to be careful.

It's nice to see people here admitting to being wrong. I wouldn't say wrong but fooled.

This hoax thing just makes things even more complicated because no one would want to give the proper attention and time to legit claims.

You guys are right, hoaxers should be put in jail. I mean, they probably made a lot of money off it, and it was a hoax! isn't that like stealing?

This remind me of the peaking on the window alien!

I cant say that im surprised at all.
However, what I cant believe is the fact that these guys actually took money from this other guy, then disappeared with his money after he called them to tell them they were full of "spit"
I believe this has gone from a hoax to a crime, since they took the guys money and ran.
Hope they catch their sorry a**es.

Well if anything this whole thing will cause a crap load of people to get interested in "finding" bigfoot. I'm sure more people will hike and search for it knowing how much fame it could bring them. Perhaps if bigfoot really is out there it will be found now just because of all this attention...?

PS - But for those of us who are interested in the UFO subject, something like this even though it's bigfoot and not UFOs hurts the UFO community because now we'll be lumped into the category of hoaxers and liars. Shame what these two guys did...

Two things I can say with certainty about this topic.

1) I wrote on the CNN comments section when this first appeared that the classic signs of a hoax were blaringly obvious, and that ATS members eat these kind of stories alive day in and day out, and that in a few days time, we will have found it out to be a hoax. Needless to say I'm glad I was right AND, Springer, no need for the royalties for the free plug in International Syndication LOL.

2) With everyone bantering back and forth about how such and such WAS true, and how so and so is or isn't a victim, did anyone even put some thought into the why? Did any of you think that this HOAX was actually designed to be found out to be just that?
Think about the reality here people, the real money would never have been in actually FINDING bigfoot, the ONLY real money is in NEVER finding bigfoot and keeping the dream alive that it MAY exist. With the latter and a renewed national interest, come sales of ALL kinds of "Bigfoot Hunting Specialty Kits Du Jour" and a whole new breed of "Specialists". THAT is worth far more monetarily, than ANY closure.

Just never ceases to amaze me what these hoaxers are thinking when they first release this kinda information. It is just so ridiculous that they would think the so called evidence would go anywhere. I wont lie I liked the idea that they found him but just like the guy above me said I saw this coming from a mile away.

gonna have to go find harry n the hendersons.

Say it 'aint so!
Ya know, I wanted to believe it was real from the get go... I mean, I really wish something so big as the real bigfoot him/herself would finally just make an appearance in my lifetime, and be just accepted by the world. Heh... they just want some attention and acceptance. Bigfoot included.
I suppose it goes to say also, the same can be said about any extraordinary creatures such as aliens from another planet, sasquatch, nessie, or the plethora of others.

In reality, the implications of such a discovery, such a legend would be, well.. legendary to say the least.. to the scientific community and to humanity as well.

It could also be said that, maybe... maybe that is why such things are never found. Is it possible that our mentality is forcing us away from the proof of such things? Are we (as a whole) incapable of understanding such things, or yet... it is possible that they are just that, extraordinary fables. While I don't discount the idea of existence of said phenomenon's, it really irks me when some simpletons exploit the open-mindedness of some people, and in desperation for attention turn out hoaxes (like this) only to end up in chagrin.

I really did, want to believe... and I was rooting for the underdog simpletons that could possibly have uncovered the largest "gold nugget" in the world so to say, and now I really must rant... and pass on to the perps, a... well..

Big Nugget

A short moral story...

Any man can stumble upon a shiny rock at any given time in his life, and claim it to be "the worlds biggest gold nugget." In his haste, the man might even show the rock off to his friends, only furthering his social status and ego. Someday though, a real digger just might come 'round and point to the rock in your hand and say: "Man, that 'aint gold...... heh, you fool... ya wanna see some real gold?"

The man stands in awe... in his hand, nothing more than a fools gold.

Bacardi and Brothers, well... are no less innocent in my eyes.. every action... well you know. It begs questioning though, how many dead opossums did it take...
to fill a $500 rubber squatch suit, and why someone who has the capability to fork out an "untold sum" of cash even would... heh, wonder how they they will get rid of that ohhh so stinky mess.

/rant off.

Thats easy to beleive...finally some truth from these clowns....
there up to there neck now is crap.

what really get me is one of them was a cop,,he is a disgrace to his uniform and should be fired!!!
Im tempted to call/email the police cheif there!!

And I hope Biscardi is finished!!!!
And he acts like he's a victim...makes me sick.
He shouldnt even be allowed to be on a pc.
He did rake in a sum of money off this...Im sure he had tons of traffic to his site where he coulda sold off-brand toilet paper and made a fortune.

I tend to think they will all be pointing the finger at eachother soon on who was the most evil...

It's a shame that people think they can make a quick buck hoaxing people , But to be honest I could tell it was a rubber suit , it just looked so fake in the picture...
And for it to be kept in a household freezer smacks of just being plain cheap anyway. If you'd found a huge story like that you'd spend the extra on trying to preserve it the best you can..
I hope that the guy's get whats coming to them for setting the disclosure and truthseeking community back 10 years, Anyone who believes in anything different like UFOS or the real bigfoot is just going to be thought of as a nutter again.
we've all tried so hard to find out 'real' truth only to have these loser's come along and disrupt the momentum .
well done to the guy's who did it, I really hope you get put away , not for a long time though, but I hope you both lose whatever jobs you have, obviously the cop is not trustworthy enough to hold his badge and I feel sorry for his colleagues who'll bear the brunt of ridicule from the public, but I hope they BOTH get fined a huge amount for embezzling funds from the media and the testing labs....
I was so looking forward to the truth about bigfoot, It would have been nice to know that something like that could evade humanity's notice for such a long time, so it would've meant that there could be so much more hiding under our very noses.

yea i had that feeling too; i even was mentioning that very fact to people at work yesterday - telling them they'd probably say it was a hoax just to manipulate us even further...

those cowards - i dare them to peek out from their underground bases. maybe they'll actually get a taste of the real world instead of their fictional version. a little sunshine would do 'em good for once too!

Ummmmmm..... Are you for real man? Get a grip! Even when truth stares you in the face, you look away. Can you explain to me how you are doing your bit at ATS to 'DENY IGNORANCE'?

Completely Mind Boggling!

I think ATS folks did a nice job overall - and if you look back through the original thread I think the consensus would of been - I want to believe but I doubt it.

I started out on page 1 hoping it was real, but skeptical. By the time I saw the first photo I was pretty excited and leaning toward believing, but as soon as I did a Yahoo search and found the costume website because of the costume picture that showed up on crytomundo below the freezer pic I linked to it about page 5 - I was pretty convinced it was the costume and not real. I even did a couple photo montages to help people get up to speed a few pages later and noted how the nostrils were identical.

So, yeah I think most of us ATS had them ratted out before page 10 of that 57 & growing thread. The only thing that realy kept it going was the MSM getting a hold of the story & that led to more people thinking it was real because they believe everything the MSM says.

Okay there were a couple of people screaming it was real in that thread, but I figured at least one of them was probably part of the hoax.

Sure, I agree - but within the realms of believability. A cheap Bigfoot suit does not equate to a conspiracy. After all, that's exactly what we see in the initial photographs of this latest Bigfoot hoax. Even the guy who made the suit came out immediately and denounced the photo as a straight up fraud.

Unfortunately the 'need to believe' (no matter what) outweighs ones ability for critical thinking. I know it's boring but sometimes things are just what they seem - without the need for shadow puppet masters pulling the strings.

back at ya!

It always amazes me that people who call themselves "investigative journalists" can't even Google "Tom Biscardi"

As soon as I heard the claim I was reminded of the Coast 2 Coast scam he pulled back in 2005. I was quite upset at the guy, so was George Noory.
