Hmm.. not bad, pretty obvious it's fake, one reason is the camera, plus the lighting of the scorpion, yep everything (except the background) is fake.

Well, well, well... we've certainly come a long way since the CIA pasted Lee Harvey Oswald's head onto someone else's body on the cover of Life Magazine back in Feb 1964 issue--look at all the blatant mismatching of the shadows betwen the head and the body and the clearly cut thin white line under the neck betraying where the splice was done !!

www.pimall.com...

And most people swallowed the whole thing hook, line and sinker without questioning it back in 1964---but I'll bet that sort of thing wouldn't fly among the younger generation now growing up with all this cool animation coming out....with their much keener and ever more demanding eyes !!!

Yeah, it would've been perfect if the animation wasn't so linear and the the facial animation was more dynamic and more expressive, but hey, that stuff was top notch back then. It's still highend today even I think.

FF - Advent Children was pretty recent maybe he was on about the hair on that?

I really cannot wait for video games to be this real. But, will advocate groups complain when you are cutting the limbs off a digitally rendered character that looks exactly like the real thing? Simulated rape in a video game I could see getting a few people up in arms about this. Think of grand theft auto or battlefield 2, just with the reality of this video... man that would be awesome.

Although, how long until people abuse this type of technology to simulate child pornography? Yes, it is digitally created.. but if you cannot even tell the difference between CGI and reality, this could be a very scary situation.

I do think this is a god send for pornography companies though. They no longer have to use real womeen, do not have to degrade them and so on - although I am sure many women will still want to do pornography for the easy money. But, why hire a real person when you can create the exact type of body, facial structure, and even genitalia that you are looking for?

I think deadline is right, games will soon be this real and maybe in the nxt century when games and minds meld which world are you want to going to live in???? A world where you pay you bill, watch corry and then die? or somewhere like in Total recall where you can save the world, be the hero and f*** the girl.

This becomes more and more of a question, live in this cruel and crap world or be whoever you want to be in a virtual world???

I'd like to be here, having a do at her, but the "humanist" movement wants me to stay at home and pay my bills!!!! GRRRR
