Well, I for one can't wait until 2020 when this technology will be used in video games!
Still, 'Video Evidence' won't seem so conclusive at all anymore.

Not bad but not perfect... i'd give it 9/10. Eyes and some 'positioning/skin elasticity' is wrong for me, but obviously I'm walking into that with
foreknowledge that it is a cgi clip.
As already said.. makes me wonder what will come from the PTB.

This is exciting and scary at the same time. I'm all for the advances in video games and such with it. Though, it still needs to be perfected.

Cool technology, for sure.
The more time you spend on the internet and computers and expose yourself to the media created to be used on them, the more you'll buy into the
aspect of the matrix being derived from the complex media outlets constantly bombarding us.
Some game devs these days even feed these plotlines into their games like Half-Life 2, for example.
G-Man awakens your character to seemingly suit his needs all the while, making you think you have free will when you already know you are bound by the
limits of the game.
Still, in the end, the G-Man gets what he wants...your money.
Just remember to enjoy nature so as to stay well-balanced.

oh man, high mischief can be had here. You might be having a webcam conversation & think you're falling in love then you find out it wasn't a real
person.

How do you think all the PC people will react when this reaches videogames? I can see them being even more outraged when it looks identical to a
real person you are mutilating...course its still just a videogame...but i can see people up in arms. And id think two GTX280's in SLI or two
4870...they seem better.. would handle requirements for this...no?

Cant Imagine a DARPA project like that...i think the use of baboons as military platforms is a little more intriguing than AI and visuals.

I was amazed! I thought it was a robot then I realized CGI. So in the end, a very good job but still a little way to go. Very good overall!!
Looking at the slightly higher definition video, something doesnt seen quite right with her head relative to her body but to the eye not told this is
animation I believe would be fooled into believing this is in fact very very real.

Hmm.. not bad, pretty obvious it's fake, one reason is the camera, plus the lighting of the scorpion, yep everything (except the background) is
fake.

Well, well, well... we've certainly come a long way since the CIA pasted Lee Harvey Oswald's head onto someone else's body on the cover of Life
Magazine back in Feb 1964 issue--look at all the blatant mismatching of the shadows betwen the head and the body and the clearly cut thin white line
under the neck betraying where the splice was done !!
www.pimall.com...
And most people swallowed the whole thing hook, line and sinker without questioning it back in 1964---but I'll bet that sort of thing wouldn't fly
among the younger generation now growing up with all this cool animation coming out....with their much keener and ever more demanding eyes !!!

wow that's amazing. Would have thought it was real myself.
Imagine what the secret governments have access to.
Thinking of all the implications of being able to to this just makes my head hurt, as well as scares the living #e out of me.

Yeah, it would've been perfect if the animation wasn't so linear and the the facial animation was more dynamic and more expressive, but hey, that
stuff was top notch back then. It's still highend today even I think.

I really cannot wait for video games to be this real. But, will advocate groups complain when you are cutting the limbs off a digitally rendered
character that looks exactly like the real thing? Simulated rape in a video game I could see getting a few people up in arms about this. Think of
grand theft auto or battlefield 2, just with the reality of this video... man that would be awesome.
Although, how long until people abuse this type of technology to simulate child pornography? Yes, it is digitally created.. but if you cannot even
tell the difference between CGI and reality, this could be a very scary situation.
I do think this is a god send for pornography companies though. They no longer have to use real women, do not have to degrade them and so on -
although I am sure many women will still want to do pornography for the easy money. But, why hire a real person when you can create the exact type of
body, facial structure, and even genitalia that you are looking for?

I think deadline is right, games will soon be this real and maybe in the nxt century when games and minds meld which world are you want to going to
live in???? A world where you pay you bill, watch corry and then die? or somewhere like in Total recall where you can save the world, be the hero
and f*** the girl.
This becomes more and more of a question, live in this cruel and crap world or be whoever you want to be in a virtual world???
I'd like to be here, having a do at her, but the "humanist" movement wants me to stay at home and pay my bills!!!! GRRRR
