The owner claims it is authentic and comes with a certificate of authenticity!!

ottawa.en.craigslist.ca...

The site is only 10 minutes from my house so if any ATS'ers want to pool some $$$ together I can pick it up and have it analyzed

Eh. Craig's List. I am 100% skeptical of somoeone selling some "authentic" Alien "thing" on Craig's list. *shrug* After all, people have been known to try and sell their own children on there.

"certificate of authenticity"

Certified authentic....by whom?

I can make one nice looking Certificate of Authencity in PS

We are selling the rock because we are moving and want the Rock to be preserved in good hands

They cant take it with them? lol Guess its not safe in their hands.

The rock was been check and verified by a very famous UFO enthusiast

Uh huh.
Who? And what is he verifying? That it came from outer space? Is it an Alien Souviner that was left behind?

This rock was found in the circular site shown in the above photo.

Uh huh. After they put it there?

you are kidding right, this must be your own ad, cause nothing else makes sense. What ATS'r would waste 5 bucks on this, let alone 500.

I posted it for entertainment but it seems nobody thinks it's funny

Here's the case

www.ufocasebook.com...

It appears to be a legitimate fake!!

And no, it's not mine. I would have glued antennaes on it.

THAT was hilarious.

I wonder if it is the bigfoot guys? LOL...$500 for an "alien rock", when mars asteroids fetch well over that.

Thanks for sharing that...it was worth the laugh.
