Looking at todays news, I ran across this Neuroscience article that describes the brains higher cognitive abilities. That is.... the human brain visually processes sound. Is this for real? I knew the brain is capable of some amazing things, but this sounds like science fiction.

it's called synesthesia. I have this and many other musicians do as well. Basically when I hear a song, in my brain it translates as different shapes/landscapes/and colors.

I've had this my whole life and have met others/am friends with that also have this. I thought this was normal for everybody growing up until I realized not everyone has this.

I guess I live science fiction!!!!
