fascinating thread. very very interesting.

reminds me of this incident, where a mainstream media reporter tried to make fun of people queueing for an apple iphone

you can see what the hidden message is here - being intelligent is "uncool", being dumb is what THEY want you to be.

Wow - am I the only one who sees the irony here? So many people that are in their trance about how evil Fox news is simply because they lean to the right. Perhaps some of us are so tired of the sheeple spouting off about our government flying planes (or "holograms":@@
into the twin towers because of the suggestion put into their heads. When someone says that they believe that middle eastern terrorists hijacked planes on that day, they are the ones ridiculed by the hypnotised.
For crying out loud, I'm certainly not a McCain supporter, but the hypnotised masses are going to try to put into the White House a person who has vaguely promised "change". Obama has zero foreign policy experience, zero experience in the Senate since he has been campaigning to be President since becoming a senator in 2005 - in fact, the ONE big bill with his name attached to it is called the "World Poverty Act" and it would take 845 billion dollars from American taxpayers and redistribute it to other UN nations. So, while you are saying the right leaning thinkers are in a trance, you are about to choose to have your income redistributed not only to the rest of the world but also to the people in America who feel that they don't want to work and would rather sit in mommy or daddy's basement in internet discussion groups claiming to be masters of manipulating people while not noticing that they are, for the most part, being ignored. You have been hypnotised into calling Bush a Nazi or commie or similar, not even realizing that you are trying hard to put a true socialist into office. If you are successful, I guess I'll see you in the bread lines comrade.

But I'm the one who is being manipulated.

TOTALLY agree with you.

The guy doing the NLP isn't McCain - it's Obama.

"change change change"....

thats just classic NLP.

That's not the point.

Your comment proves that you have been watching way too much news.

THEY ARE ALL CORRUPT. It doesn't matter which network you watch.

There is no line between "Republican" or Democrat". They are the same thing, it only allows Americans to feel like they have a choice, when in reality they do not.

I think some of you are missing the point and some of you have made it a left v. right discussion. This thread contains a discussion about whether or not our subconscious is deliberately manipulated by the "powers that be" (be they left or right ). It should really raise awareness and whip up discussion. Whether Obama uses 'it' more than McCain is neither here nor there.

The question really is whether or not we are masters of our own minds and choices. Would you know if you are not? If you think you know, are you sure?

NLP works on your Subconscious, in other words, it works without you being aware.

It is widely used tool in supermarkets, Malls, advertising and, as it shows here, perhaps even in news media and politics. Some of you have already used the word Sheeple from a point of superiority. But remember, we are all part of a flock of sheeple. No one is immune unless you are a hermit living in the mountains with no tv, radio, church or shops.

Everyone here is so clueless they have NO idea of the turnaround time required to get a news story on the air. We are/were struggling daily to get news stories on the air in time for the shows. NO ONE has time for this utter crap nor do they care enough to put it into news stories. This thread is ridiculous.

Actually I don't have to prove anything to you. This nonsense is the stuff that has to be proven. As for your immature posting tacticts, way to go, you really did prove your point.

Nice to see this thread got moved to skunkworks where it belongs, with all the other useless crap and lies.

Actually, if you're going to make threats you better come up with some evidence, I've called you out, are you going to man up and do something? Nope, you're just going to whine and sulk in your corner cause you got your butt handed to you.

Next time you make threats, at least back them up, I'd like for you to actually try and follow through with them.
You can't prove you're anything but a poser, I asked for proof and you danced around and didn't show me any.

Like I said before, put up or shut up.

It's been proven on here several times NLP is real, I too know thing or two about the news business, I have a friend that works for the news, he works behind the scenes (not in the sound or video), he does the thing where they matrix the different video footage together (forgot what it's called), my proof that I know him is that his name is Shane Combs, he works at KAUZ news channel 6 in Wichita Falls TX.

I also know about movie production too, I used to do digital special effects for independant film (SkyLine Pictures in Wichita Falls TX). So i know how fast things are done and the kind of time people have.

Do'nt spin me, I know more about this than you do, so put up or shut up.

NLP is real, it's been proven that the news does it, go sulk in your corner.

Did you even watch the video??

He didn't even let the Professor answer. That is why I hate ALL NEWS NETWORKS. It doesn't matter if its Fox News, CNN, NBC, ABC, BBC, or MSNBC. They always cut off the person they're supposed to be interviewing before that person can answer.

It is extremely aggravating. You watch the News to try to learn something, and instead you are fed the OPINION of that certain network instead.

I hope you didn't come here to support any of the major News Networks.

And if you did, how much money is Rupert Murdoch paying you to criticize people who are sick of being lied to?

i read up a bit on NLP and it just dosent seem to me that this is what we are seeing in the media. i'm not saying though that they dont use some form of manipulation (as we all know).

i read nlp is a methodology of how we function as human beings. the purpose is to study, describe and transfer models of human excellence. it is the relationships between how we think (neuro), how we communicate both verbally and non-verbally (linguistic) and our patterns of behaviour and emotion (programmes).

i think it pushes your own boundries and helps you use the capabilities which are innate though rarely used. form of hypnosis...i dont imagine though could be wrong.

Ha! That probably would have been me. Nice video!

To the person that said that we are being manipulated into voting for a candidate with no experience what so ever in anything. I, for the most part, believe that presidents are only puppets, no matter who is in office, and if that person try to make a difference, they take that person out of the way!

I believe that the more info that we get, the more prepare we can be to all kind of attacks to our psyche. We must be very discerning with everything unless, of course, we are talking about 9/11, which it's pretty obvious what it is!

NLP doesn't work (well, no more than just asking a person to do something for you). Read the research. It's been debunked more times than Houdini. My advice: save your paranoia for something worth being scared of.

NLP may be real, but this isn't it. Some folks are getting some really bad hallucinogens. Hey, ever watch Snow White? Notice how Grumpy keeps looking sideways? I'm telling you man, he's the one behind the evil, wickedness in the whole story!

I can't believe I wasted time reading some of this crap.

NLP on SciFI? I was just watching the SciFi channel. The Eurika episode “I do over”. 8pm. Central time. I have AT&T Uverse service. I paused the program about 30 min into it . I resumed watching it and at the end time slot 9:03 and ½ sec the word “LISTEN” in white letters on a black background flashed on the screen. It lasted less than ½ second..there was also a high pitched noise just after the word. The programming began for ECW. Unfortunately AT&T Uverse recording is eraced when you reach the current program time so I have no evidence. Just thought someone would like to know and maybe there’s somebody out there who caught the high pitched sound and can slow it down to figure out what we were supposed to “LISTEN” to.

Look Dooper,

Not exactly sure what your intentions are? Maybe just a skeptical person?

But, how much more obvious does the video have to be? The guy being interviewed didn't have much of a chance to really state his views, because that manure sack kept interrupting him, and belittling him. Whether you buy the whole NLP thing or not, something was wrong with that interview. In your heart I know you know this.

Well not exactly because SOME people would eventually pick up on it and know what is happening. You see subliminals ALL the time in TV commercials anyway but we don't exactly go out buying everything we see on TV. NLP seems to be much more effective when you actually have someone sitting in front of you using these techniques while in a conversation WITH you. I think that is why the BMX bike trick in that video worked so well..

But Some people think that the TV news networks will occasionally throw in a subliminal message or two for whatever reason. This is one of the more recent threads (I think I already talked about it a little) involving FOX News flashing subliminal images of John McCain..
