Doesnt matter. Some people cant see it and you wont be able to show it to them because they just dont understand how they get influenced by it. It takes a certain amount of emotional intelligence.

At least we can all hope people don't take Colbert THAT seriously.. I'm surprised you don't see this on his show actually.. Colbert would see it as a compliment!!!!

Are you sure you understood my post? Here's what I said in my post.

"That's my point. He is acting. And he is damn good at it. Hannity and O'Reilly are the real deal. Most intelligent people can see right through Colbert. That's why he is so funny. He's like a SNL character."

Where's the ambiguity? To use your own words. I'm surprised you don't see this. ! That's why he is so funny. He's like a SNL character."

Benny Hinn, is an exelent example of NLP, sad thing is, he's preying off people who really want God to do something in there life. Benny Hinn tries to take the place of the Saviour and claims that he knows the way so people should follow him, go to his crusades, give him money.

I'm a Christian who believes in speaking in tougues, but there is absolutly NO biblical support for what Benny Hinn does or that rediculous "slane in the spirit", or "falling out" BS.
What's really going on is people are getting very euphoric in the clowns passionate speaking and and all the emotion and craziness he's working up. Then as people have seen many many time on tv, when he gives that key word and that motion, people "fallout", these people are so fixed on wanting to hear from God, or to have something "supernatural" to be exerienced in there lives, that they allow themselves to be lied to and they actually lie to themselves.
I've seen this BS in action and it angers me immensely, it makes my blood boil to see people taking advatage of others in the name of God, to me, it's almost as bad as murder.

Here you go, this is what Benny Hinn is doing:

Here is an advice for the OP, DON'T WATCH TV (NEWS)!!!!
A lot of us don't watch news programs anymore due to the same reason you are posting this.

They manipulate you in ways that few people don't understand and get you with news flashes they want you to see.

They provoke you to think irrational as to blame someone else for whatever had just happened, they make you doubt things you never doubted before, and yet, millions of people are still watching TV.

If you don't want to be like the rest of them, then stop watching TV!

Just a friendly advice!

I just want to add something to this, I have never really watched TV, and the past few years or so practically zero minutes of TV, I never turn it on. Although, the people in my house do, and lately Ive noticed that there is some sort of pull coming from the TV, like its the sensation that I somehow need to watch the program whatever it is, it doesnt matter, it just seems to seep out of almost every channel. Its so intense that I have to leave the room to shake it off.
Its like there is some tone or frequency being used to hypnotize people or something, more intense than before. I flipped to the public access channels and they did not seem to give the same pull, i found myself back in a somewhat normal state looking at the tv rather than being sucked in by it like on the other channels. Who knows, all I gotta say is if they are using any sort of hypnosis or black magic via TV, I think now is a good time to get rid of 'them' all together.
Its pretty bad when youre walking up to your house and you can 'feel' the tv before you even get to the door. Whats up with that?!

I wouldn't call this real NLP. There are a couple of basic NLP moves but it is so poorly done that it becomes an insult to people who really know NLP.

Besides, for those sugestions and anchors to work you must first put the viewers in a trance. You won't put anyone in a trance with that kind of dialogue, tonality or agressiveness.

In my humble opinion he was so bad that he was the one who came across as an idiot.

oh, that 666 with his hands is just nonsense. That isn't NLP in any part of the world. If anything, he's associating the devil to himself.
It's just a basic hand movement, he does it with the other hand also, making it a 333.

It's a great video to see how the Media is biased and doesn't let the guests speak though.

Well guess what. I have worked for almost every major network in news, and several commercial television stations, and this is complete BS. Everything posted by the OP is not true.

I would know if they used that crap and they don't.

And you can't back up or prove one iota of your claim.
Do it, show us proof.
Some of us 9like myself), use NLP to get info outta people, it's the reason why I've been able to get strangers to tell me some of there darkest secrets (like child porn, molestation, rape, stealing, ect.).
I actually know how this stuff works, there is a type of sorcery that was being used as well. You sir are full of BS, you sound like that one yahoo that was telling me he had 5 degrees from universities in england and japan or some bs. Seriously, put up or shut up, the challenge has been presented to you.

Great thread! Thanks!

I often ask how people can believe some of the things they believe. And I wonder... for those who watch FOX News in a serious way... Are they now wondering if what they believe is true? Or are they discounting this whole NLP thing as bunk?

Listen, it would explain a lot of questions I have about why people believe (for example) that George Bush is a great and honorable president and that Barack Obama is Satan incarnate...

STOP watching FOX, people! It's good drama, but what's it doing to your mind???

Thats interesting Jimmy.

My daughter who is a master practitioner in NLP and also a hypnotherapist, says that you can not get anyone to tell you things by using NLP. not if they don't want you to know. its the same with hypnotherepy also.

She asks where did you train in NLP.

Cheers.

With that said, stop watching CNN, MSNBC and all other enws channels, well, I don't cause it keeps me sharp on the new tricks they might be popping up. Also, don't believe anything you hear when they talk about McCain or Obama being our "saviour" (in a very broad sense of the term), both canadate are shills and none of them offer any real good chnage, all of them are puppets. This whole left/right thing is just something to seperate people and to keep them fighting. Just think about how many neocon, or neolibs pop up around here spewing hate and bs about the other side. It's what I like to call the football team mentality, a game is being played, but we act like it's a war on both sides when it's not, all there is, is devision because devide and conquor is a very useful and deceptive tactic agianst the battle for your mind and the battle for your obedience.

Obama is evil, McCain is evil, they're politicians, none of them want what's best for the people, they want what's best for themselves.

Wrong, they tell you that because you are in deep rapport. NLP was just a way to get into deep rapport. Without the rapport no one would tell you a thing, NLP or not.

Bahahaha, that's such bull, gee wiz.
Hey guys, I'm a master at doing handstands, but guess what, I have absilutely no way of proving it.

Dude, what I do comes from my own discovery of NLP, it's a natural... gift so to speak. I was doing this before I knew it had a name/acronym. I always studied people as a child, i noticed there faces, began to do cold reads on people, Derren brown is able to get poeple to not only tell him things, but he also gets them to give him things. NLP is a way of getting information. What I do is I set it up to where I can get the person to think out loud and then a subtly enter into convorsation with that person, then as the convo deepens into that, they don't even realise the things they are telling me, I guess it's like putting them into a trance, I must admit it's very sneaky and a little underhanded, because the person who is telling me these things doesn't want me or anyone to know them.
For a while this became second nature to me, but eventually my conscience got a hold of me, so I don't do it that much anymore, i only do it if I really want to know something. Maybe it's not NLP, maybe it's something different, but it sure seems a lot like NLP to me.

NLP IS extremely strong.

The guy breaking down this interview does a decent job, although he does miss a couple things, and misinterprupt some others, he also admittedly says he never studied NLP, and if that's true, he is just very perceptive.

To point out one thing, the "OK" gesture that the interviewer gave, did not represent 666, what he essentially did was make a hole with his hand, basically a Zero, meaning "nothing".

So that's what his response to the "issue at hand here", the issue at hand he wants you to believe is "nothing", that there is no issue, there is no conspiracy.

Again the OP mentions Derren Brown, and I really would ask you all to look this guy up, he is amazing, 99% of americans have never heard of this guy, but he is the real deal.

The bit he does here is quite amazing, and he even breaks it down for you:

here: Derren Brown NLP

and if the secrets arent given at the end, watch those here: Derren Brown NLP reveal

The man is a master. Very, very strong.

You will be entertained by this guy for many weeks if you watch all of his videos, he is just on another level than most performers.

I also attened such groups. But, have found it very useful for people that I wanted to control, and still use many aspects taught to control thta I need to in order to get my way. If people need to be controlled as well as told how to do things, then why not use these idiots? After all that is what this training is for, not just to sell or take things that don't belong to you. It's a gift and does need to be learned. I have been at it over twenty years, and I use to feel it was not right. Then I had a lot of things that would have harmed me, if I did not use this protection. Nothing to fear if you have control of your own mind. But, .....If your one of those that have to be told all the time, then I may have you as well, and you just don't know it. Think about it human's.

But what's with the pen through the "Zero"? Is that some sort of sexual innuendo with insulting intent?

This vid is also an attempt at programming the viewer to feel that the only "logical" alternative is to accept Prof. Barrett's position since of course an argument has two sides one of them must be the correct one which is patently fallacious. Do mind my loose usage of "argument" as Hannity clearly isn't arguing but resorting to insults and innuendo.

Think outside your box and think yourself into mine. That's what "think outside the box" usually means in the wild.

Are you serious? I knew EVERYTHING that went on at every place I worked and I knew EVERY reporter personally. In fact I dated one of them. You expect me to believe this utter and complete nonsense because YOU say it's true?

The thread seriously be locked down or moved to skunkworks until someone provides some REAL evidence. Keep in mind you are liable for any claims you make against a company and ESPECIALLY unfounded ones.

I worked for both NBC, FOX and about 10 TV stations. This is B.S., period, end of thread and story.

What proof do you want, and I will go get it. Do you want proof that it never happens? I am telling you it never happens or happened. I managed news operations for years.

File this thread along with all the useless threads here predicting alien landings and crap like that.

I also saw the pen as well , and yes there could be a sexual conentation there, makeing this teacher seem dirty.

But I do believe this teacher/proffessor has studied at least a bit of nlp, because he does catch the interviewer on a couple occasions. I especially like when he says, "I do not hold my class captive". It's obvious he understood what the fox reporter was trying to imply, and he snuffed him out.

But unfortunately, Fox's anchors mics are louder than thier guests, so when the guest and the fox anchor are talking at the same time, the viewing audience hears the guy from fox only.

It's really a no win situation going on these shows. As the guy doing the commentary on the video explains, and he is 100% correct in that fact.

Especially when your limited to a 2 minute interview.

But again, for entertainment purposes, if anyone is bored, and has some free time, I REALLY recommend you you tube Derren Brown. Most of his stuff is incredible, and he uses alot stronger NLP teqniques than the guys on Fox, because i mean that is what he does. He is a master at it.

But I'm sure like me you will be amazed at mostly all of the stuff he does. It is so simple to and he almost always gives a reveal on how it is done, and why it works.

Sure some of his handshake induced hypnosis is a bit too much for me, I never really believe in hypnotism. But I'm sure Derren spends alot of time observing people, and he can pick out the weaker minded, who are more prone to touch anchores, and hypnotic inductions.

I am much more amazed at the speed in which he talks and how many words he can put together that sound like he is saying one thing, until you rewind it 3 or 4 times, and really listen to what he is saying, and sometimes more importantly not saying.

The guy is purely amazing. I wish his show was Broadcast here in the states, I'm sure he would be a star. Although he would cater to a more intelectual audience than Criss (I use groups of stooges, and CGI, and camera tricks) Angel.

The bit where he buys a necklace or bracelet from a jewelery store with nothing but blank paper is classic.

As is the russian roulette bit. Which again he uses heavy NLP, and puts his life on the line in belief of this craft.

After you watch a few shows, you will begin to pick up on some of the NLP before the reveal, and that is really fun.

But again what we are seeing here by the Fox anchors is not very strong NLP, it really isn't NLP at all. It is more of hand gestrures(sorcery/sybolism), interupting, and pattern breaks, a very , very low level of NLP. But I have no doubt that these Fox anchors are given classes on the basics of this, and practice thier timing, interupting is key, like when he asks the guy for evidence, while the guy is telling him the evidence, so the viewer doesn't even hear it. That is NOT coincidence, that is basically talking over someone. Simple as that. But the timeing is key, and I'm positive they've been taught some basic skills, not necessarily true nlp, but some minor forms of it.

But takeing cheap shots, and insulting people is nothing new, it's not nlp, it's just how some evil MSM networks operate. Fox and CNN being on the top of the list.

One other detail is the dark and "heavy" coloring of Sean's background and clothing while Prof. Barrett's side consists mostly of Pastelle-ish light colors. Also notice the posture, Hannity sits leading forward implying aggression while Prod. Barrett leans backward implying submission.

Edit: I only watched 1 and 2 since I got the point so I don't know if that was mentioned. The camera angles appear deliberately chosen for that domination/submission effect though.
