Here's a mind-bending idea: The U.S. military is paying scientists to study ways to read people's thoughts.

Armed with a $4 million grant from the Army, scientists are studying brain signals to try to decipher what a person is thinking and who the person wants to direct the message to.

Sounds like the Army has been duped by one Dr. Peter Venkman and his funky ideas.

I am quite interested in the concept that, if proven to work, this could be used in interrogation of enemies is somehow a "raised concern." I'd think that such a technology, painlessly and quickly being able to access pertinent information from our enemies, would be a huge benefit and positive to this research.
