I also think it's 3D rendered, but it's very cleverly done.
The UFO is beyond the window, on which we see a reflection of the 'camera' that's supposed to be filming it. How would you go about doing that?
I guess you could do a 3D render of the UFO/plane wing, then project this onto a screem. You would then have to refilm that movie with a camcorder
looking through a 'plane window'. That seems like an awful lot of work, but I guess that's how it was done. If anyone has a simpler explanation, Id
like to try to duplicate it using LightWave 3D.
