TBILISI, Georgia (AP) — NATO said Monday that Georgia will eventually become a member — reaffirming its support for the country with which it
is hosting joint military exercises, to Russia's dismay.
During Monday's training, American, Spanish, Italian and Greek soldiers walked Georgian military through various battlefield attack techniques. The
Georgian soldiers trained with Russian-made weapons and fired at silhouette targets dotted around the field as NATO troops observed, occasionally
intervening.
A helicopter landed just yards (meters) from the field in which the live-fire exercise was being conducted, drawing gasps from British personnel. The
helicopter later whisked Saakashvili away.

Well it seems his pilots need some more training!
If Georgia was to become a full NATO member not only would Russia's borders, and the black sea be be compromised from their point of view, with the
enclave within Ossetia etc, a dangerous situation could develop where NATO troops were enclosing Russian troops.
This obviously is a real cause for concern for accidents and anything staged, or just bad command.

Even though just two days ago or so NATO and Russian Miliatry co - operation resumed after the ending of the NATO exercises in Georgia, Russia has now
responded in Kind with the following:

As all praying it is not a Pretext for any intervention in the Georgian Crisis that still carries on at present with the political situation
internally.

I don;t think i will post anything about the missle defence sheild on this web site.I have posted statements about that in other web sites under
another profile name and it got wiped straight away.I guess some one in the goverment did not like what a had to say.
