Here's another gem of a flick I didn't see mentioned on here.

BLINDNESS

was adapted from Nobel Laureate Jose Saramago’s masterwork and tells a harrowing tale about the fragility of mankind. Directed by the Academy Award® nominated (City Of God) Fernando Meirelles, from a screenplay by the Tony Award® winning (The Drowsy Chaperone) Don McKellar, BLINDNESS stars Julianne Moore, Mark Ruffalo, Alice Braga, Danny Glover and Gael Garcia Bernal.

It is a very good movie. I went and saw it with my mother and really enjoyed it. Very touching and heartwarming. Without giving anything away, Julianne Moore was breathtaking in it. I really think this movie will get her career back on track (not that it was fledgling, but she's sort of been out of the spotlight for awhile now). Go see it if you get the chance.

Looks interesting, I liked Julianne Moore in "The Forgotten and Children of Men" and Mark Ruffalo in "Zodiac",, I haven't seen either of them in many more films but their both great actors as far as I have seen.

This has an M. Night Shymalan feel to it.

Yeah both those actors were great in those films. You're right, does have a bit of a Shymalan feel to it but not as gimmicky--and I mean that in the best way possible.

Man, I just saw the preview for this.
It's got everything an ATS/BTS member could wish for.
Can't wait to see it.
