wow, truly fascinating. i wonder how big the place is? don't think it had that in the article. always thought there had to be more to the Mayas. Makes me wonder what else of this lost civilization there is out there, ready to be discovered.

What did the Mayans mean though by this 'gateway to the underworld'?

Something is supposed to happen in dec 2012?

I wonder if there will be live footage of the event....
