Can we get someone to quality check the threads that go on the site home?

Like a mod to read the first couple of posts to see if the thread is actually an interesting debate, and not just a one sided crappy argument? Like that one thread where the guy was talking about how there was no air in space because god is a great mystery.

I really dont think that kind of stuff belongs on the first page, maybe a good debate on either space or god.

I just dont see why they cant just have quality threads on the front page.

Yeah my fist stop is the first page, and would like to see some well thought out,factually correct threads, to greet my time on ats

ATS is member driven.
The more posts a thread gets, the more popular it is deemed thus being placed on the homepage.

If you think a thread is crap or doesn't interest you simply don't post in it or don't read it.
Pretty straight forward to me.

Sure there's lots of rubbish here, and I'm one of members who thinks the content is getting worse, but there are lot's of quality, informative, enlightening, humorous etc thread here too.
Something for everyone with an inqusitive mind.

The last thing I want is Mods or anyone else determining the content of ATS.

There is a thread dedicated solely for the discussion of topics related to how ATS should or should not be handled.

Please direct your concerns there.
