To paraphrase an old song "Screw them, you're from Texas." Keep you swagger and keep your balls because you've earned them.

You've got to be kidding!
The only thing GW deserves is a swift book in the ass out the door and into a prison.
The man is evil. He has completely pissed on the US and the rest of the world. American infrastructure, economy, creativity and vitality crumbles as he fabricates enemies to keep fighting, wasting resources that could be better spent repairing and replenishing US citizens and infrastructure.
He is dim, an absolute boor, unintelligent and a bad joke.
Anyone applauding this man really needs to give their head a shake. And to those who admire him for his steadfast, earnest `get the job done at all cost`attitude, may I remind you of a fellow named Charles Manson who had a similar attitude.
This thread and the OP are the really bad joke here. This is the most ridiculous, blatant example of blind patriotism I've seen in a long time. It's actually kind of frightening, in a sad way.

What is the solution to this problem?

I know a lot of people on this forums initial reaction to a thread like this is to call the person ignorant and hate on them. But if a lot of people actually think like this than as a country we have a serious problem.

Instead of fighting ignorance with anger and hate, how can we fix the fact that we have a country full of uniformed people?

Honest news would be a good start.

Please if you're gonna make a statement like that you might want to proof read your post. That way you don't end up looking like a fool. And lighten up.

Ireland is it? Why such an interest in President George Bush? I have read your post and your vitriolic speeches. You have managed to repeatedly vomit propaganda and leftist rhetoric. I understand everyone is entitled to an opinion, but this thread is about paying honor and respect to the President of the United States of America, not the United States of Ireland!! However, if you have any thoughtful response to what has been said here feel free to chime in, but please get off the Bush bashing, some of us have had enough.

Since you believe all the 9/11 conspiracy tripe you posted, may i also assume you believe in fairies and leprechaun's as well?

It's very simple starting with self awareness, becoming aware of whats around you. Learn what your projecting onto another, and how to respond to other people's projections onto you.

You can apply this to masses, people and countries!

People dont do this, They follow leaders, follow con artists, they follow others and the media. They are giving their power away.

People have stopped becoming aware of what's really happening around them.

Look at the last 8 years of a country behind one man has done? Are people are aware that they they have given their power away for one mand to destruct and misuse your power?

Oh My God.

The stupidity of the OP is so blinding it is similar to someone scratching their nails on a chalk board.

Holy #ing # are there still people out there like this?

No wonder I have lost my faith in humanity when there are probably 1,000 posts on this site alone with facts that should be making this guy run for the hills and rethink his position.

I don't care if you are a liberal, conservative, Libertarian, Communist, Socialist or Al Queda.

Anyone with a brain that works properly knows that George Bush is a #ing joke at best and a source of evil at worst.

It's all documented from multiple sources. This is ATS. How do these #tards remain?

I am a conservative btw. George Bush is not a conservative if you haven't noticed.

Lmao! No I haven't. I'm been real here. To be quite frank I'm allergic to BS. I'm prepared for yours, as I'm just getting too. George Bush is not of interest to me, George Bush regimes has affected this world to the extent that the people of this world are responding in a stern manner. WE DONT ACCEPT his behaviour. That's what I'm saying. I'm interested in respecting.

It's appaling and is just chaos to anyone's mind. It's actually disturbing to comprehend the damage and aggression he has caused to this planet in just 8 years alone.

Its not Bush Bashing, get over that petty nonsense please.

There go back into your box where ever you came out of
This world would be far better off with fairies and lepreachauns than George bush, on a lighter note

EDIT also stop calling me and other's consertative, leftist, bashers or green with pink spots etc. Just becuase we dissagree with Bush on his actions.

I'm a human being. and I'm representing myself. not consertatives, fairies, leftist or rightists. Just to clear that up.

Got it, gooood.

Thanks BushCo for murdering 3,000 of your own citizens so you could murder another million Iraqi civilians, wage perpetual war, trash the Constitution (that "goddam piece of paper"), remove American's freedoms and civil liberties and bankrupt the nation. History will NOT be kind:

History News Network Poll: 61% of Historians Rate the Bush Presidency Worst

April 1, 2008
By Robert S. McElvaine

Mr. McElvaine teaches history at Millsaps College. His latest book, Grand Theft Jesus: The Hijacking of Religion in America, has just been published by Crown.

“As far as history goes and all of these quotes about people trying to guess what the history of the Bush administration is going to be, you know, I take great comfort in knowing that they don’t know what they are talking about, because history takes a long time for us to reach.”— George W. Bush, Fox News Sunday, Feb 10, 2008

A Pew Research Center poll released last week found that the share of the American public that approves of President George W. Bush has dropped to a new low of 28 percent.

An unscientific poll of professional historians completed the same week produced results far worse for a president clinging to the hope that history will someday take a kinder view of his presidency than does contemporary public opinion.

In an informal survey of 109 professional historians conducted over a three-week period through the History News Network, 98.2 percent assessed the presidency of Mr. Bush to be a failure while 1.8 percent classified it as a success.

Asked to rank the presidency of George W. Bush in comparison to those of the other 41 American presidents, more than 61 percent of the historians concluded that the current presidency is the worst in the nation’s history.
Another 35 percent of the historians surveyed rated the Bush presidency in the 31st to 41st category, while only four of the 109 respondents ranked the current presidency as even among the top two-thirds of American administrations.

At least two of those who ranked the current president in the 31-41 ranking made it clear that they placed him next-to-last, with only James Buchanan, in their view, being worse. “He is easily one of the 10-worst of all time and—if the magnitude of the challenges and opportunities matter—then probably in the bottom five, alongside Buchanan, Johnson, Fillmore, and Pierce,” wrote another historian.

The reason for the hesitancy some historians had in categorizing the Bush presidency as the worst ever, which led them to place it instead in the “nearly the worst” group, was well expressed by another historian who said, “It is a bit too early to judge whether Bush's presidency is the worst ever, though it certainly has a shot to take the title. Without a doubt, it is among the worst.”

If you are so concerned with how the government spends your money, should you not be backing the party that has a tradition of taking less of it? Just a thought.

And a BIG thank you to ATS'ers who submit reality check posts to threads like this and do not idly and feebly tow the party line of weak minded sheeple spouting utter BS regarding a man that represents the absolute lowest possible denominator in human potential.
