I would also like to thank President Bush.

Thank you, Mr. President, for over-extending are forces overseas and making us more vulnerable to an attack here at home.

Thank you for spending trillions and trillions of dollars on searching for a guy you have no intent on finding.

Thank you for allowing your big oil buddies to hike up the price of gas to $5/gallon.

Thank you for wasting to biggest economic surplus in this country's history in less than 24 hours.

Thank you for overseeing an economy in which the only profit being made is by those big oil buddies of yours I mentioned earlier.

Thank you for butchering the English language on a daily basis.

Thank you for 9/11.

Thank you for illegally invading a country under false pretenses.

Thank you for making the United States the most hated country since the fall of Rome.

Thank you for denying homosexuals the rights afforded to every other American.

Thank you for allowing New Orleans to be flushed down to the toilet and then acting surprised when people said you didn't do anything.

Thank you for spending half of each year on vacation in Crawford, Texas. You give every other American hope that some day they, too, might be able to take a vacation.

Thank you for getting involved in the Terry Schiavo case - something that had absolutely nothing to do with the President of the United States of America.

Thank you for encouraging Islamic fundamentalism.

Thank you for making a mockery out of the American electoral process.

Thank you for making Jimmy Carter look like George Washington. (OK, that might be stretching it...how about Rutherford B. Hayes?)

I think this little list should quiet down the grateful ones.

www.americanprogress.org...

Please visit the link provided for the complete story.

Number 27 on that list is Sceh-REE! Scary, sacry, scary. I think he was bluffing on that Homeland Security veto. And Homeland Security is the Nazi, NWO agenda all the way. He never even thought about vetoing it. It was a game.

Number 38 would crack me up if it wasn't so pathetic... Not feeling a sense of urgency about terrorism or al Qaeda before 9/11??? The terrorism was built by him and his staff. Why would he worry about it? It was (and is) under his control.

Well, the position of this listmaker (these?) is clear. They'll bash away, but never point out the REAL issues with this usurper.

Geez, 15 pages of hate. I really love these threads.

Thank you, Mr Bush for:

The Heartbreak of Psorisis.

The Rape of Nanking

The Edsel.

Breakin' 2: Electric Boogaloo

Jar-Jar Binks

The Pet Rock

Janet Jackson's "wardrobe malfunction"

Backstreet Boys, New Kids on the Block, and all of the other ghey boy bands

Greedo shooting first.

Instead of screaming into your pillow at night and eating yourself to sleep, how about doing something proactive. Making a list of crap to blame on Bush is lame.

I wonder what's going to happen after he leaves office and you can't use him as your boogyman. Tho I think a lot of people will.

But he is a sell out and is responsible for EVERY death of our children as well as over 1 million Iraqi citizens, letting Blackwater run with impunity in THIS country as well as Iraq, not having to follow any laws. He has called our Constitution a "piece of paper", fancied himself the dictator/decider of America. It is not even proven he won the election, have you counted the number of people and heard the testimony of the ones who were convicted and others who spoke to Senators and Congressmen, who did nothing of course. Both sides are the same, it is a false paradigm to give you a sense of power. Most of you have an open enough mind to believe in Aliens and UFO's but you cannot fathom your Government being evil and controlled? Have you read all the quote's throughout history?

May I make one very slight correct.
when someone mentioned a certain activity was unconstitutional, when referring to the Constitution, he said, "it's just a god damn piece of paper". Obviously bush doesn't understand either the meaning of The Constitution of the United States nor does he understand it wasn't written on paper.
Very good post !!!

Wow "mabus325", I give you MAJOR Props for this Post. I have been a staunch Defender of the Current United States President and his Administration, ever since the very beginning. I honestly never thought I would live in a time where it seems to be the FAD to Hate on an acting Leader of the United States. President George Walker Bush has done so many Positive things during his time in Office, yet he catches Flack like no other. I feel a major portion of this has to do with the fact that he is the VERY FIRST United States President to have to put up with the Internet during his entire Term(s) in The White House. No other Leader of America has EVER had to put up with such scrutiny, ridicule, and illegitimacies in regards to attacks.

I am glad everyday that we have had a President for the last Eight Years who through his Moral Convictions Stands Strong, Stands Fast, and Never Falters.

Yes, it's such a bad idea to blame a criminal for his/her actions.
We're blaming him for real things he's been responsible for.
He was aware there were no WMD's in Iraq yet we still invaded because he lied and said there were WMD's.
He's committed crimes. Are you saying that we shouldn't blame criminals for the crimes they commit????????????????????????????????????

Yep, the US was a rosy garden of Eden until Jan 2001 when Bush took office. Then everything went straight down the toilet.

Every one of the reasons that people list here has been debated here on ATS. "He ignored the Osama threat!!!" Hey, guess what? So did Clinton.

The "Reasons I hate Bush" threads are a weekly occurance here.

I really shouldn't speak for someone else but a very big thank you should come from Nancy Pelosi.

Anyone remember that trip she took to various ME nations that have unfriendly status and spoke with their leaders in private meetings? Not once did Bush remove her from office nor supported removal from position of Speaker of the House despite her little trip being as far from constitutional as it gets...heck, he didn't even send a 4 fighter escort to return her to the US, scoop her up on arrival transfer her to Gitmo. Far as I know she even retains her spot in the order of succession to the presidency should enough people die in office.

I don't think anyone here thinks that bush is the only problem but the OP thinks bush is fantastic and thats just a huge joke.
He has the worst public approval rating of any president in the history of the united states.
He's signed more secret executive orders then all presidents combined.
He's ok'ed torture and imprisonment without representation.
Bringing up past presidents has nothing to do with the subject here. What he's been accused of doing, he has done. So are you saying that just because we've had other bad presidents, we should ignore this bad presidents record?
Both him and Darth Cheney are criminals that should be removed from office.

In a way, it is. Go to the source of the problem. I was just being sarcastic before, but it's true. Things weren't suddenly bad as soon as Bush took office. Osama bin laden was offered up to Clinton, and he didn't want him. That doesn't make Bush a good guy, but it sure doesn't mean that he's 100% responsible for that problem.

Bush does have a crappy approval rating. News flash: So does Congress.
In fact, their rating is worse.

I don't agree with the President 100% of the time, but here are my thanks to the President. History will treat you kind, Mr President. Your detractors will fade from memory.

Thank you for liberating Afghanistan.

Thank you for standing strong in Iraq, when others wanted to surrender.

Thank you for putting a dictator on trial for war crimes and receiving the final justice he deserves.

Thank you for not treating the White House as a brothel.

Thank you for putting the fear into Libya so that they gave up they nuclear weapons program.

Thank you for standing up to North Korea.

Thank you for doing actually something about Al Qaida other than firing missiles that take so long to get there the camps are empty by the time the missiles hit.

Thank you Mr President for working hard to get the economy going after 9/11.

Thank you for standing up for tax cuts.

Thank you for trying to make this country energy independent.

Thank you for trying to combat AIDS in Africa.

Thank you for trying to give the people who empty our trash and pick our vegetables some dignity, although I disagree with you about Amnesty.

Thank you for appointing justices to Supreme Court who believe in the US Constitution.

Thank you for trying to protect us against an enemy who wants to harm us while others would let it happen for political reasons.

Thank you for standing up for the unborn.

Thank you for resisting the pseudo science of global warming.

Thank you for your humility in office Mr President.

Thank you for your love of country and the love of the men and women who protect this country.

Thank you, Mr President.

I wholeheartily agree.I attacked this adminstration relentlessly when i started paying attention to politics. But the more i attacked on issues the more the issues didnt make sense and i had to re-evaluate Mr Bush(without some leftist whispering in my ear!).I can see much clearly now and know who the real enemies of this great nation called America are.As you were Mr.President and stay strong against the Russians. We make a stand now for freedom and democracy.Strong leadership has always come from the right/republican/conservative parties, never from the democrats/liberals or the left.

In a time of war, strong leadership is needed and boy does america need leadership right now and Mr.Bush will be remembered as one of the best.

Don't all threads here on ATS end up like that? Either that...or they blame America for global warming (which as all smart educated people know....doesn't exist).

Yeah, true. "You can't change horses in the middle of a race," kinda thing, I guess.

But if you look at it, America has been in a constant state of war since... Well, forever.

www.youtube.com...

Since WWII, it's been:

* Communists. So America funded a bunch of Mujahaden to fight the Soviets in Afghanistan, leading to the creation of the Taliban that took over the country once all of its possible governing power had been dissolved.

* Terrorists. Groups of which got all broody about taking down the Soviets (after fighting a 'holy war' funded by the US), and now feel the same can be done to America.

* Iraq. Remember the aluminum tubes? Yeah, that was pretty much all they found. Everything else, America sold to them in the 80s to fight Iran.

Oh look, it's Rumsfeld dealing with Saddam in 1983. Must have been before Saddam went all 'evil'.
