A friend of mine has a cat that never grew, I don't know why but it has stayed kitten sized for ages.

It's original owner called her lola, Current owner calls her Kalo or Kay-lo.

She is one cool kitty and she sits on your shoulder, I call her a carrot, Cat/parrot.

How about naming that kitty: 'Smooches'? It requires lots of kisses, ya know.

I had a wonderful Kitty that looked just like that..

Poor fellow just got too old and died in his sleep.. GREAT CAT

He looks like a Raoul to me, or perhaps a Fidel.

Actually, why bother?
A true animal lover, which I sense that you are, uses names that slowly, over time, evolve into something completely different from the original.
It starts with a name, then a nickname, then a name that sounds like the nickname, then something that rhymes with the nickname. Then you see the animal do something that reminds you of something else entirely..So you come up with another name, then a nickname of that.....
you know what I'm saying? LOL

Some examples:

I have a dog named Abbey..
we call her Lou.

I have another dog named Leo..
We call him bubba.

We have a cat named Mooshka..
We call him taterhead.

WE had a cat named Pauly.
He was called poop.


Anyway..I thought I'd throw this info into the mix..!!

You are SO right. I have a really bad habit of doing that. Not just with my pets but my kids all have shortened or nick-names too.
Right now all I'm calling the kitten is Bad-ass...because he seems to love to get into trouble and attack my feet.

I know what you guys mean...I gave a kitten to my mom and she named her Cassie, now she calls it Rat Bastard lol...it's sweet though...in my house!

Hey May. I kinda forgot about all this..OOOPPPSSS!
He's just so cute and fluffy, but he is quite the bully, and likes to "police" the other cats in the house.
So I just started calling him, "The Fuzz" or just "Fuzz".
It kinda stuck.
