Skynews:

Villages in Georgia are currently being bombed. Oh well, that lasted long. Eye witness has also confirmed 135 Russian vehicles heading to Khodori Gorge.

It seems only SKY and The Guardian are reporting this story - but that can't be right, it's more or less a last try of the Georgian government to "put shame on the Russians" .. just look how Georgei Badridze describes it:

Georgei Badridze said that Russian bombers had hit targets including a hospital in the town of Gori, villages away from the combat zone and a minibus carrying civilians.

He said the strikes had been carried out after the announcement by Russian President Dmitry Medvedev that the military offensive to protect South Ossetia had been called off.

"We're talking about strikes from helicopter gunships which could not have mistaken these places for anything else," he said.

"If their plan to totally destroy Georgian statehood fails at this stage, they (want to) make us bleed economically."

Yeah sure, do you really think Russia will bomb hospitals after announcing a 'cease fire'? Another Georgian lie (at least until they show evidence).

Russia Orders Halt in Georgia as Fighting Continues

MOSCOW — President Dmitri A. Medvedev of Russia announced Tuesday that he had ordered a halt to his country’s military operation in Georgia, although he did not say that troops were pulling out and he insisted that Russian forces were still authorized to fire on enemies in South Ossetia.

Note the clear indication that there has been no cease fire.

Sloppy, so very sloppy.
