For some reason I felt compelled to reply to this post.

1: The bible is a very old book. It was written as a way to record history, and to keep people in line. The writers used human nature, science, astrology and past events, amongst other things to predict events, and through secret societies, events were brought to pass. This does not make it divine.

2: If you believe the bible to be true, just remember much of the christian bible has been edited many times. If you think this is a modern phenomena, then you are mistaken. The Jewish scribes back in BCE did the same things. The oldest existing Greek and Hebrew manuscripts are most likely altered from their original forms.

3: Yes human history repeats itself. Yet people are always spreading fear by predicting doom and gloom over something as innocent as a sporting event. Why cant people just accept it for the peaceful multi-nation get-together that it is? Not everything is evil. Of course they want it to be perfect. Every nation does and im sure in 4 years time, England will be making the London games as perfect as possible.

4: Nations have been rising up against nations since civilisation began. Wars come and go, we are still here. I remember people were saying WWIII was here back in the first Gulf war. Then again during the Balkan war. I wasnt born for a long time after the Cuban Missile Crisis but that didnt happen did it? There have been many times that we were expected to enter into WWIII. Its just a form of control through fear.

5: The bible makes no specific mention of AN antichrist. It makes mention of many antichrists in one of the letters of John. I interpret this as equivalent to one of the modern cult methods used to call people who can see through the rubbish "evil", and warn the belivers to stay away from them. People have mis-interpreted this to think a solitary evil man will rule the world. It wont happen.

6: If true, prophecy can always be averted. Prophecy is not a definite thing that will come to pass, its something that will come to pass if events remain unchanged. Your own bible you worship says as much. In fact, if you read that book properly, and assuming you beleive it to be truth, then it would prove christianity wrong in many places. As they say, the basic message is still in there.

7: God is a waste of time. He's the reason we are all in this mess. People dont need him. People who claim to be his representatives or chosen elevate themselves above the rest of us, and the problems begin. Live for yourselves and your family/friends. Dont crap on those around you. If this is the only life we have then whats the point wasting it on evil?

I've always felt that the different major religions are all referring to the same God. They all just have different names for Him/Her with different teachings, but it's the same God to me. That's one reason I don't try to discount anyone's religious beliefs, besides who am I to say one is more correct than the other. I consider myself a christian, but some of my religious beliefs would probably offend more mainstream christians.

Back on topic, this is a great thread with some fantastic contributions. Starred and flagged. Thanks especially goes out to NOTurTypical. Things do seem to be coming together, the next few years should be very interesting. I would like to see my kids grow up, but the next life will be much more fulfilling. It will be nice to see my 3 year old son feel good all the time though. He was born with kidney problems and had a transplant last December. He has done well, but pretty much stays sick because his immune system is suppressed. I know that the only reason he is still here is because God has taken care of him. He was not expected to live more than a few days, more than a few doctors told us they were very surprised he ever left the hospital after he was born 14 weeks early and on dialysis 3 days after birth. I heard the term "miracle" from more that one of his doctors. Even after he was finally leaving the NICU and coming home with us, the dialysis dept admited that they expected him to just waste away, that's what almost always happens to kids in his situation.

even Obamas orchestrated visit to the Berlin monuments of occult 'power' is a losing scenario... just as the Nazi experiment turned out to be.
So--- what's so powerful about a presidential hopeful retracing the steps of a earlier generations unsuccessful worldmasters (hitler, nazis, et al)

The four horses of the apocalypse has been riding since the fall of man.
1. White horse--brings forth deception
2. Red horse-- brings about war
3. black horse-- brings famine
4. Pale horse brings pestilence and death.

These four horsemen represent all the suffering that has been inflicting man since Adam. Even though they have been bringing forth our destruction for centuries, it is escalating to a fever pitch!!

What we have endured throughout our time, doesn't even compare to what lies ahead. We , I believe are getting ready to enter this prophetic play.
If I may, I would like to share a poem I wrote on Revelation..

To John, what he saw was a horrible thing
that would come upon the earth
what a dreadful scene

As he sat, he did write as the angel did command
to put into words, what was coming to our land

We was warned from the start, but we went our own way
now soon we'll take part in this prophetic play

The seals will be broken and seven they will be
four horses are released to begin their destiny

The trumpets are sounded and death will abound
and the power of these plagues will be all around

The vials of wrath are poured upon man
vengeance is rendered, repent while you can

The devil appears on the scene soon to come
he makes a great sweep of the souls he has won

So If you are left when the church is all gone
pray to god for your soul cause his work is almost done....
